A.a.r. did a good work on my classic truck , affordable and timley. Would be a five star but my interior took a bit of a hit (Some oil stains and tears on the carpet). Other than that Id recommend them and will return when I need some more work done.
I originally dropped my Jeep off for shock installation, but while I was there, the owner, Bill, saw it shaking violently at low speed as I pulled in. He told me he’d take care of the vibration and also pointed out that my steering box was leaking — which was true and absolutely needed to be replaced. He said if I brought in a remanufactured unit, he’d install it but couldn’t guarantee the quality. That was fair, and I agreed. I also agreed to pay to have the front axles rebuilt, wheel hubs replaced, and a new steering dampener, which he said would fix the shake. When I picked it up: -The shaking was still there - I brought it back again and showed him — then was told it just needed an alignment. - I got an alignment. No change. No one had driven it. No one verified a single fix. Then there was the multifunction switch. I paid for a new switch because the high beams didn’t work. When I came back, I was told it hadn’t solved the problem — that it was “probably a wiring issue.” So they installed without ever confirming it would fix anything. Didn’t offer to fix the wiring. But the worst part was the steering. After installing the remanufactured box I brought, the Jeep left their shop with dangerously stiff steering, no return to center, and a huge dead zone. It was hard to control on the road. That should have been caught on any test drive — but they clearly didn’t do one. I was told to bring it back at noon today to have the steering box adjustment checked. I showed up on time. Bill told me his mechanic didn’t come in. No call. No text. Just: “Try again tomorrow.” I’ve spent thousands of dollars and multiple visits here, and my Jeep drives worse than when I brought it in. This shop doesn’t diagnose, doesn’t verify repairs, and doesn’t follow through on their word. If you want someone to guess at problems, throw parts at them, and leave you to figure it out afterward — this is your place. Otherwise, take your Jeep somewhere that actually test-drives their work and stands behind it. I brought it in because the A/C didn’t work, I needed new shocks, and the car was shaking when cutting the wheel at low speeds. I left with a nearly $3,000 bill and verbal confirmation the violent shaking was resolved. Instead I left with a vehicle I could barely steer with the same symptoms I entered with. The kicker? I just needed $100 spacers because my tires were hitting my shocks when turning. Edit for Bill's response: the only things the previous shop quoted me for that was completed by Bill were the shocks, steering box and the labor to check the HVAC. Bill assured me that the shaking we discovered would be fixed with replacement axles, wheel hubs and a new steering dampener - all his suggestions. My frustration is that there was clearly no test drive to verify that the issue was fixed, and the steering was downright dangerous. It's an old Jeep. There are many things that could be replaced, but I brought it in to fix specific issues. I am ok living with a remanufactured part not working as it should. I am not ok with Bill's team sending the car out without testing it to make sure it is safe. It's the minimum expectation when working on steering systems in a vehicle. I'm shocked at how cavalier he is being in his response.

Took my call at 8 am and got me in that day, fixed the noise coming from my bmw x1’s tire well within 15 minutes and charged me a reasonable price. I would recommend them. Thank you for your help!!
Bill and Brian are very hardworking and were great to deal with. I was five hours from home when my check engine light came on and my car started acting up. They were quick to get my car serviced, despite being very busy. And true to name, very affordable. There’s nothing like being away from home and your car acting up. These guys put me at ease and saved the day. I would highly recommend.
