I got in early one Sunday morning and gave Milktooth a try. It’s a very popular place, and finding parking can be hard. The staff was professional, and I was able to sit down at the bar right away. The menu changes quite often, so I’m not 100% what I got anymore. The latte was good, but the Indian-inspired biscuits and gravy was delicious. I think it was something like a saag paneer style gravy over the biscuits with an egg on top. The flavor was great, and it was just filling enough. The place has a bright, kind of retro atmosphere, and they pack a decent number of tables into the place. It still fills up fast though, so be prepared. It’s worth a wait if you’re a fan of nice breakfasts.
This place is everything the world says it is. I rolled in just before 3pm on a Monday and they accommodated me. Got some oysters, a spiced chai waffle and a few drinks. I had a Turbo something IPA which was alright and an Indianapolis Brewing Company lager, another alright beer. The spiced chai is everything it said it was. Oysters were fresh and didn't cause any health issues. I appreciated my time and the Hoosier hospitality I received.

We live 2 hours away and have driven to Indy just to eat here. We probably come to once a month and it’s always a must stop brunch spot. I don’t know how they don’t average 5 stars. The food is always outstanding. The menu changes constantly. If you come during the week you’ll walk right in. If you come on the weekend you better get in line 20 minutes before they open or you aren’t getting a table. Our go to menu items are the ever changing latke and the Dutch baby. Staples. The coffee is some of the best coffee in the city. They had bacon meatloaf on the menu today for the first time that I’ve ever seen it on there and it was 11/10! It has notes of brown sugar, bourbon and coca-cola. I wish I could own stake in this restaurant. You won’t find a better brunch in the state of Indiana.
Very disappointed with this place. They force a high tip based on the post-tax total (20%), and the staff told me that everyone must pay it, even if you’re dining alone like I was. There’s absolutely no choice, which makes the whole experience feel bad and unfair. As for the food, the taste was mediocre at best. The burger sandwich had a very thin patty, and part of it was extremely salty because the seasoning wasn’t applied evenly. The bacon was overly greasy and became unpleasant to eat after just a few bites. Overall, the flavor does not match the price at all. Forced tipping + underwhelming food = definitely not worth recommending.
We came here because a travel YouTuber raved about this place. Let's start with the good... The presentation and unique menu items are definitely a plus. It was a beautiful day so we decided to sit outside. My wife had the smash burger and iced matcha magic with lavender. I had the pastrami hash with an iced honey buzz latte. The food was okay. The smash burger had an odd combination of flavors and did not impress. It came with a pretty tasty side of fries. The pastrami hash included an egg, potatoes, carrots, onions, and mustard. It was nice but not something I would write home about. Overall, the portion sizes for the drinks and food were mediocre for the price. The food quality was very high however there is an included 20% gratuity which I am very much against. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't get why this place is so expensive.
