We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Boggs Mansion. The whole experience was a great value. The innkeeper was super accommodating, friendly, and generous, offering to help whenever he can and providing complimentary snacks/refreshments all day and night. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful, feeling luxurious yet homey. We stayed in the smallest room, but it was perfect enough for a couple. It felt very cozy and like I said before homey, which is quite different from the typical hotel stays we're accustomed to. The mansion is situated in a walkable area, with the National Aviary just nearby. It isn't too much of a hike from downtown, either. And a pleasant surprise- free street parking! And despite road work going on nearby there was always a space available. It felt super nice not having to worry about parking fees or finding a spot when returning to our room. The Boggs Mansion was wonderful stay, even moreso for the value, and we will definitely be returning next time we're in Pittsburgh!
Had an amazing experience at Boggs Mansion this weekend. The Emma Room was so cute and spacious and perfect for our weekend away from the kids. Breakfast was exceptional - the artichoke and parmesan quiche was probably the best quiche I've ever tried. It's also so walkable to so many restaurants on the North Side. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends.

Overall, the Boggs Mansion is a must stay if you are visiting Pittsburgh or simply looking for a great place to unwind and relax. We were greeted at the door by name, by the host Evan, and were shown around before making our way to our room. Breakfast was made for us each morning by the host or inn-keeper, best scone I've ever had! There was clearly a great level of intentionality within the space, a care for cleanliness and hospitality. The other guests were quiet and respectful of the shared spaces and it was truly a lovely reset for the beginning of our 2026. We will definitely be back again and look forward to exploring more of what Pittsburgh has to offer :)
My husband and I came into town for a weekend culminating in a Pittsburgh Steeler game Sunday night. We were welcomed on Friday evening by Michael, who was a superb host all weekend. We stayed in the Red Room which was small but met our needs. Michael prepared scrumptious and filling breakfasts each morning and kept my teacup full when we sat outside to enjoy the morning sunshine. The afternoon cookies and evening snacks were also much enjoyed (as well as the well-stocked soda fridge). The Mansion had plenty of parking and was convenient to many places we visited during our stay. We would definitely return!
Make sure you really want to stay here before you book. The reservation may state you need to give a credit card to hold the room but they charge you right away. Also if you do cancel they charge a $50 ridiculous fee even if the reservation is months away. Buyer beware!!
