Sheraton Desert Oasis Villas, Scottsdale

We stayed at the Sheraton Desert Oasis last weekend and had a great experience overall. The pool area was definitely a highlight for our family — it was beautiful, relaxing, and having poolside service from the restaurant made it even better. We spent a lot of time there, and the food was excellent and surprisingly reasonably priced for a resort setting. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for a family stay. We especially appreciated having a kitchen and dining area so we could make breakfast in the room each morning, or order food and be able to eat comfortably in the room. The fitness center was also a nice amenity and gave us a great place to work out while traveling, although some of the cardio equipment could use a little updating or maintenance. Another great part of this resort was that there were two playgrounds on site. Our girls enjoyed exploring both during our visit. The only downsides for us were that the Wi-Fi was very slow, which was frustrating since cell phone service (we have Verizon) was also pretty limited at the property. We also tried to use the jets in the Jacuzzi tub, and it seemed like the jets hadn’t been properly cleaned. Quite a bit of dirty buildup came out when we turned them on, and after seeing that, we didn’t feel comfortable letting our kids use the bathtub. Even with those issues, we really enjoyed our stay overall and would absolutely stay here again on a future trip to Scottsdale.

We LOVED this hotel. We had two adjoining rooms, both were very well appointed. They include: fully stocked kitchens (full sized fridge, standard dishwasher, all the dishes you'll need, dish soap, laundry, laundry detergent, coffee maker, coffee beans, full stove and oven, microwave, pots and pans etc.) it had everything we needed to cook onsite. The bathroom was luxurious and comfortable. Loved the tiling and dual vanity. The shower was good pressure and temp. The bed was perfect, comfortable and large. The rooms all had extra space. The pool is very clean, nice waterfall, hot tub and never had issues finding a lounger. Towels are supplied at the pool where there is a little service counter with drinks and food. The highlights were sitting on the deck with morning coffee and evening drinks. The location is fantastic. We have began staying in that area rather than old town as there is a lot to do nearby.
