From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. The rooms were spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. The beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, and I especially appreciated the high-quality towels, washcloths, and complimentary toiletries. The location couldn’t have been better, it was just a short, easy walk to Huntington Bank Field, and the area felt very safe both during the day and at night. The hotel also offered great amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While the rooms aren’t oversized, they’re thoughtfully designed and provide the perfect amount of space without ever feeling cramped. After some disappointing hotel experiences recently, it was such a relief to have such a wonderful stay. I would absolutely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
We stayed here for the Fourth of July. The location is great because you’re right by all the action in the city, but that’s the only real thing that stands out. In our first room the AC didn’t work, so they moved us to another room, where the AC didn’t work. It was 99 degrees on July 3rd… You have to buy EVERYTHING separate from your room. Our room was almost $500, but it didn’t come with toothpaste or a toothbrush. We had to buy one downstairs in the lounge area. You also have to pay to play music on the TV, like, what? You also have to pay for breakfast, which is not a normal hotel continental style. We were given some coupons for “free” breakfast, but it was for $10 bucks, then I still had to buy the rest. You have to buy everything… We also attended the fireworks event, and tickets were $65 dollars, AND IT DIDNT INCLUDE FOOD OR DRINKS! So I buy $70 tickets to watch fireworks? And have the privilege of buying food? YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING! Overall our experience was decent because the city offered us lots of options for fun, but I’d like it if our hotel was just more affordable and reasonable. But shoutout to Kenni the Bartender, she’s a real one. Give her a raise.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Aloft Cleveland Downtown for our wedding weekend. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the hotel block process. Planning a wedding comes with countless moving pieces, and having a hotel partner we could trust made such a difference. The location was perfect for our wedding weekend, and our guests loved being able to stay in one central location close to all of the festivities. We received so many compliments from friends and family about the hotel, the convenience, and the overall experience. What truly stood out was the level of service we received throughout the weekend. The staff was kind, professional, and consistently willing to go above and beyond to help both us and our guests. Whether it was answering questions, assisting with arrivals, or helping navigate the many details that come with hosting a large wedding group, they made everything feel seamless. As the bride and groom, we spent a significant portion of our wedding weekend at the hotel, and it quickly became more than just a place to stay. It was where we got ready with our closest friends and family, shared special moments before the ceremony, and returned after the celebration as newlyweds. The team helped create an environment that felt welcoming, exciting, and stress-free during one of the biggest weekends of our lives. We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Aloft Cleveland Downtown for helping make our wedding weekend such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a hotel that combines convenience, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality.
We booked this location in order to see fireworks on the Fourth of July. It did not disappoint. The location was perfect for viewing, but it was also a lovely hotel. The front desk team was professional but fun, efficient, and honored my request for a high floor room. They were also and very helpful when I ran into the bed frame(not their fault- I’m just clumsy) and cut myself. I needed a few bandages and they made sure I was OK and got what I needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. In spite of the city having many events going on, our room was very quiet - which was a nice bonus. We had dinner at the restaurant next door, Lago, which was also outstanding. Great stay and we would donut again!
Modern styling but has some age. Definitely a hotel that gets a good amount of traffic of people coming and going. The views aren’t bad, you’re right by the water. The hotel rooms are clean and modern, but there’s some signs of wear on doors, carpet, etc. The hotel parking is either valet or in a structure. If you arrive late like me (around 11PM) and leave before 11AM, it’s $20. It’s a bummer they charge over $10 for breakfast (apple, cereal and milk).
