So. The people complaining about the front desk, Tood, I actually really loved him. He was hilarious- a bit sarcastic but FUNNY and extremely helpful to me and the family we were traveling with. I give him five stars. Those complaining may just be uptight or just super tired from traveling. I'd have totes grabbed drinks and a laugh with him. Let me preface that we were traveling with friends who chose the hotel and I'm a bit of a hotel snob. So if holiday inn is your go to, you're probably going to be just fine here. I'm a bit grossed out by hotels in general so tend to be willing to pay more. Our room was fine. Nothing special. Nothing terrible. Just your typical 3 star hotel room. Our friend's room smelled of urine. They were not bothered by it nor did they complain or think it smelled bad. So, whatever. I have a super strong sense of small and it really grossed me out. The rest of the hotel smelled of a sweet smokey relaxed smell. 😉 The location is great if you need something to do or places to eat. If you just want to get in, get out and be on your way- not the place for you. This is a highly congested and busy area. So I guess it's a preference thing. It's definitely convenient to food and mall and entertainment.
We had a very nice stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a nice walking/ biking trail nearby. In walking distance. The staff is very nice and attentive. We plan to stay here again when in the area. Oh, they have a great continental breakfast also.

I stayed at this location two weeks ago. My stay wasn’t as pleasant as I would’ve liked it to be. I had a lot going on and the last thing I needed was an unpleasant experience with staff. When I checked in the front desk agent Todd was very Rude! I was asking him about different accommodations and he flat out told me “No we don’t do that” ,without any thought . After conversing back and forth he just became more irritable to the point he couldn’t even hide it through his mannerism's. Despite all of that I went to have breakfast the next morning and that was the best part of my stay. To my surprise there was a young woman named Shannon who truly turned my judgment of this hotel around ! She was super customer friendly and just overall down to earth. The food was great best I’ve had at a hotel and I travel and stay in hotels often. May seem unimportant to some, but you never know why someone is traveling and it doesn’t take much to just be kind!
Booked online only to be told the hotel gets to choose the room. Apparently "no available queens". No refund available to go elsewhere. King room sofa bed was unbearable. Had better luck sleeping on the actual couch, which was obviously very uncomfortable. Also located immediately above and beside the front door where the slamming of doors started at 6am. Front desk confirmed the next morning that there were indeed queen rooms available the previous night. I'm guessing the night clerk just didn't want to change the room? Was contacted by management who basically said "so sad, to bad". I am a "silver member" which I believe means I've stayed at the ihg brand about 27 times this year. Not a huge customer but allot to me and my budget.
I should’ve known when we walked in and I needed a key to use the lobby bathroom that we’d probably have issues. Actually, even before, we had called three times to merge two reservations to ensure we didn’t have to switch over rooms and three different times there was absolutely no help. But they were able to accommodate that here at check-in. The breakfast was very underwhelming even for a free breakfast at night she hotel don’t come for pancakes close to closing because they only use one bag per day so if there’s no batter left in that bag, you’re not getting pancake pancakes Biggest thing here is that they are not pet friendly. It’s 2025 and we book a lot of hotels with IHG, I’m platinum elite. And for some reason I missed it, but I spent four hours sitting in my car before I could check in trying to find a last-minute pet sitter on Rover. This caused me to be a little later to an event that I had. The event was at the motor Speedway so the location was actually great ideal right off the highway and a straight shot down the road. Rooms are decent. Typical holiday in room set up and desiifn The cleaning staff was super friendly when I talked to them in the hallway and got extra towels. Given an extra star just for that. Three stars because just overall it was ok, and a huge inconvenience not being pet friendly. At $239/nt it’s not the ritz Carlton so idk why it’s an issue here with the local operator
