Service was great, check in was smooth and plenty of parking spots. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, outdoor pool and loved that there was a laundry on site. There’s also a dollar general next door. The room had a microwave, refrigerator and the tv had a lot of channels to choose from. However, the room itself felt musty and dirty. The walls had drywall patch ups, holes in wall, and the musty odor kept me up. It looks like the hotel attempted to remodel a run down hotel which for the most part looked good from far away. This is a good budget friendly hotel to stay in but if you’re looking for something cleaner or if you’re sensitive to smell I would recommend going elsewhere.
Love the breakfast and drink options. After 8 hours in the car, it was so nice to see there was lemon water and pink lemonade in the lobby. The breakfast had so many options that my picky eating kids still had something to eat. My only concern was the small maintenance issues in the room. Hair dryer didn't work, grout was missing from spots between the tiles and the shower curtain rod needed to be tightened.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Country Inn. I travel with a legitimate service animal and provided the hotel with the proper service animal documentation and registration identification in advance. Despite this, staff repeatedly referred to my service animal as a “pet” and attempted to charge me a pet deposit, which is inappropriate and demonstrates a clear lack of understanding regarding service animal protections and hospitality compliance standards. The handling of this situation was unprofessional, embarrassing, and completely unacceptable. Guests with disabilities and legitimate service animals should not be subjected to repeated questioning, improper fees, or discriminatory treatment due to staff failing to understand ADA/service animal guidelines. Instead of treating the matter respectfully and professionally, I was made to feel uncomfortable during my stay and forced to continually explain that a service animal is not considered a pet. Hotels should properly train their employees on federal disability accommodation standards and guest rights to prevent situations like this from happening. I would strongly encourage management to educate their staff regarding lawful handling of service animals and respectful treatment of disabled guests moving forward.
Have stayed here 3 times while visiting Nashville and Vanderbilt. It is a nice, quite, clean hotel. Close enough to Nashville but just on the outskirts. The mattress seemed like it had been upgraded since our last stay. It's was so comfortable and they have nice big showers with luxury shower heads that feel great after driving all day. My only gripe is the staff. They all seem miserable and are not welcoming or friendly. They're efficient and not horrible but certainly do not add anything to the stay.
⭐☆☆☆☆ I hate leaving bad reviews, but people need to know what kind of treatment we received here. My husband and I had been staying here for a few days, and the bathroom exhaust fan in our room was unbelievably loud. I’ve worked in cleaning for 17+ years, so I figured it probably just needed to be cleaned. I took the cover off and found the fan absolutely caked in dust—so bad it honestly looked like a fire hazard. Clearly this wasn’t something housekeeping or maintenance had paid attention to in a very long time. I cleaned it myself and planned to simply ask someone the next morning to help me clip the cover back on. We ended up extending our stay, but because my husband accidentally booked a different room type, we had to move rooms the next morning. While we were moving, housekeeping and management went into our old room, saw the fan cover off, and before I could say more than a few words, I was being accused of putting a plastic bag over the smoke detector. Let me be very clear—I do not smoke, I did not smoke in that room, and I absolutely did not put anything over that detector. What really shocked me was how aggressive and disrespectful the manager was. She crossed her arms, raised her voice at me, talked over me, and flat-out refused to even consider that maybe something had simply been overlooked during room checks. Instead, she kept insisting she checks every room personally and basically called me a liar to my face. Mistakes happen. I understand that. What I don’t understand is how someone in hospitality can be so quick to accuse a paying guest, become confrontational, and refuse to even listen. So after cleaning a maintenance issue that should have been caught by housekeeping in the first place, I somehow ended up being accused, talked down to, and then told we needed to check out the next morning. Between the lack of basic upkeep, the obvious neglect of the rooms, and the aggressive, unprofessional way management handled this, we will absolutely never stay here again.
