Came in during Toledo restaurant week to try a few things. Not typically a fish person, or a grits person.. but the Walleye was moist and flaky and had an amazing flavor! The grits were nice and thick , not that soupy stuff. Seasoned with creole, the bread served with it even tasted great since it was grilled. Never have I ever heard of fried chocolate bread pudding....but this KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF. My mother doesn't typically like sweets, but even she loved this. There's a crispy outer layer...and a rich, thick interior. Whoever created this thing , bless them. It is a must try. The small size is good for 2 people. Would suggest the large for more than 2 or a smackdown might happen.

Food was top notch. My husband got a chef special cheese steak with fries and I got chicken salad sandwich on croissant with Brussels sprouts and we shared a beer. There was plenty to take with us for later! Fantastic service! Loved the atmosphere. Really cool building, clean and historic. We will definitely come back if we ever drive through Toledo again.

My first time going there. I love brussel sprouts so I ordered them for an appetizer. They were good, but could have used more sauce and a bigger portion for the price. My wife got the French Onion soup which she thought was too salty and they used croutons instead of baguette slices and that made it even saltier. I personally thought it was pretty good, though. Our burgers were good, but nothing special. I went with four stars for the food because the burger came with out of the bag potato chips on the side and to upgrade to fries was something like $3. The burger was priced fairly and in the range I'd expect to pay, but in that price range I'd expect fries, not chips. I don't remember the exact name of the dessert we got but it was bread pudding with ice cream, pecans, and bacon. It was then drizzled with maple syrup. It was AWESOME. So awesome it almost earned back that fifth star, but I just can't get over the cheap potato chips.
