I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received from Dr. Byard. From my very first appointment, it was clear that she truly practices patient-centered medicine. She spent an hour and a half with me during my initial visit and an hour at my follow-up appointment—time that allowed her to really listen, understand my concerns, and look at my health as a whole rather than just treating individual symptoms. I have several health issues, and Dr. Byard has been incredibly thorough. She has taken the time to research my conditions, recommend appropriate testing, and even send me helpful medical articles so I can better understand my options. I especially appreciate that she carefully considers my preference for a more holistic, conservative approach whenever possible instead of immediately prescribing medications. When medication is appropriate, she thoughtfully weighs the risks and benefits based on my specific situation. It’s rare to find a physician who is this knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in her patients’ well-being. I never feel rushed, and I always leave feeling heard, respected, and confident that we’re making decisions together. Dr. Byard is my favorite doctor I've ever been to. She is very understanding, easy to talk to, and truly listens to you. She doesn't invalidate or dismiss your complaints, no matter how small they may seem. My whole family sees Dr Byard now and we couldn't be happier. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is tired of seeing doctors who don't listen and downplay their symptoms and practically force you to beg to be treated.

Dr. Byard is a wonderful person and physician. During appointments with her, you truly will feel heard and she always shows empathy for your situation. She has helped manage my conditions better than any doctor has ever had. She has also helped with several acute issues. It is an amazing thing to have easy access to a doctor during an acute illness when a lot of other PCPs have weeks-long wait times. I am SO greatful for Dr. Byard and everything she has done for me in the last few years!
