Great place by the rivers . Never seem so many people cleaning and working and training as well as upgrading. Even now the bathroom are open and clean. Love going here and talking to people, praying with the broken and rejoicing with the recovered. Sometime just a nice place to hang out and listen for that still small voice
Beautiful park. The scenery is gorgeous. Definitely a spot to take pics for any occasion. The kid area is amazing. I will be going back. They have a healthy heart trail as well.
amazing relaxing place

I wanted to hike on the trail that was mentioned in the website. But there’s no proper sign in the park that would tell you where exactly is the entrance to the trail. I think this park is more of a picnic area and less of a hiking park.
Today (10/13/2024) was our second time to visit and see the trolls, and had a terrible experience with the clerk at the visitor center. Upon arrival at the parking lot we proceeded to the trail to the closest troll. We intended to double back to the visitor center to pay our entry fee for our ourselves and grandchildren. The clerk came out of the center and loudly yelled at us to not enter the trail and to pay first. After visiting the animals and trolls, my wife went back in to buy ice cream. The clerk again treated my wife very rudely in front of other customers lined up behind her. Very unacceptable behavior and treatment by a public employee.
