Wasted $5775 on Texas Criminal Defense Group who didn't answer the phone, email or text to help me with my misdemeanor case and never even met in person. Thanks, Anya! They have a 'closer" phone person who acts like a used car salesman to get your money and signature and who makes you feel that they will solve all your problems.. Once they have your money, you will never hear from them in a meaningful way again. Only emails about court dates. They won't even talk to you in court because the person you worked with won't be there and the replacement person will be covering a crowd of other people. They are feeding off of your ignorance with the legal process and from the bottom of my heart keep shopping around -- there are real attorneys out there that will be seriously take your hand and help you. Thank God I hired someone new who was a godsend. Please hire anyone else.
**Seeing the amount of positive reviews, I will start mine by saying I could have just been an outlier. My intent is not to bash this firm but speak honestly about my experience** This firm represented me on a case in 2024. It took a total of 6months of trying to get the case dismissed before being told my best option was deferred probation. Within the 6 months, there was very little communication with me and the lawyer on my case; I had to call, sometimes multiple times, to get an update outside of the calendar update every month of the reset court dates. I was informed that I could contact them about 6 months in to my probation to file a motion to get one of my probation requirements removed. It took a month for anyone to get back to me about even setting up a phone meeting, which was booked out another 2 weeks ahead. The attorney my phone call was scheduled with was very short with me and rude as I asked clarifying questions about what could be done. He told me he’d follow up with me the following week and I never heard back from him, nor did I receive a call back from anyone in the office. Thankfully, the rest of the probation went by smoothly but I strongly disliked the way I was treated by this firm; especially considering how much money I spent to work with them. The only person who seemed to genuinely stay on top of things was Brett Landriault, and as far as I know he no longer works for the firm.

Poor handling of my case. Late to court appearances. Switched attorneys at critical times, replacement was not up to speed on my case. More expensive than competitors. Unable to reach them when needed, esepcially after they've started using an AI system to answer calls.
Happy the way that they handled my case if I have anything in the future comes up I will very much give them a call to represent me again
I had a case from 3 years ago that finally caught up with me (DWI). Texas criminal defense group was able to get my case dismissed and I only had to appear in court once. They work with you & let you set up a payment plan if needed & they are always looking for the best outcome for their client. My attorneys name was Garrett Gibbins & he was honestly one of the best attorneys I have had. He was so helpful, easy to talk to & made sure I was up to date with everything going on. I highly recommend them & their whole firm. Definitely worth every penny!
