We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Hotel in uptown Charlotte. The location was perfect and accessible to museums, restaurants, the ball park, and other attractions. The staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our bed was comfortable and we slept very well after a long day of sightseeing. The executive lounge had a delicious daily breakfast and the small plates served from 5-7pm were satisfying (especially the home made cookies) so good! Maria, our server in the lounge, provided exceptional service. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Charlotte!
The food and service have been amazing! Maria has treated us as family, making our girls trip extra special! They took care of us with exceptional delicacies and desserts from the gourmet breakfasts to the appetizers in the evening to the dessert selections after we came back to the hotel from dinner. We were treated like queens, and couldn't be more greatful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel and couldn't be happier with our experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff was welcoming and professional, and every detail made our stay feel special. The spa was amazing and provided the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. The Executive Lounge was one of the highlights of our stay. It was always clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with delicious food and beverage options. It was the perfect place for our family to enjoy some downtime. A special thank you to María, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and thoughtful, especially with our baby. Traveling with a little one can sometimes be challenging, but María made us feel completely at ease. Her warmth and genuine care truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay. As an unexpected bonus, we even happened to run into several players from the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team during our stay! They were incredibly friendly, and it made for a fun and memorable experience—especially for our family. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. Between the beautiful property, outstanding service, relaxing spa, wonderful Executive Lounge, and unforgettable memories, we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
We had the best time staying here for a special birthday celebration. We stayed in the concierge level -and the lounge was amazing. Maria went above and beyond to make the birthday girl feel special. The food was all delicious and there was such a great variety. Having access to snacks & drinks throughout our stay was so nice. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!!
My weekend stay at the JW Marriott was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The location was ideal, the rooms were beautifully maintained and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made for a truly relaxing experience. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. A special thank you to Andrea in the lounge, whose warm hospitality and attentive service truly elevated my stay. I’d also like to recognize Kadijah at the front desk for her professionalism and assistance during checkout—she made the process seamless and pleasant.
