I stayed here last month while in town for work for a long weekend. I felt my stay was absolutely perfect for my needs. I stayed in a standard queen room with private bath. The room was simple but clean and had everything I needed. I was especially impressed by the coffee tokens for the adjoined coffee shop. They were an awesome touch and the coffee was excellent! The lobby was clean and the atmosphere was a great boho vibe. The communal space was also clean and quiet, allowing me to get work done when needed. The space was quiet overnight, I was never awoken by anyone else during my stay. And the location is absolutely fantastic. Close to a variety of wonderful shops and restaurants and only one block away from Powells. I will be staying here each time I fly out for work over the next couple of years.
This was such an unexpected gem. As a solo female traveler I felt super safe and secure. The front desk was incredibly supportive. I was able to keep luggage there after my checkout while out in the city, they loaned me an umbrella, and the coffee shop tokens were SUCH a treat! Highly recommend this place if you love cozy eclectic spaces and a chill atmosphere! Easy to get to from public transit .

The rooms were amazing and fit my family of 4 perfectly. The staff was very helpful and was able to help with our needs and fix any small issues that came up. The location was right in the middle of DT Portland so a lot of good coffee shops and places were in walking distance. However I only really give it 4 stars because there is no parking with the hotel and we had to park our car in a near by parking structure, which was pay to park. Staff is super helpful telling you the great places around the area. Highly recommend for solo or small friend group trips. Overall great experience!
This particular part of Portland gets a bit loud. But we had a sound machine, so we were able to cancel it out at night. Otherwise, we loved the place. Please understand, you're not getting a swanky, refurbished, polished place. This is an antique building, with rooms that make do the best they can. But what they lack in terms of shine, they make up for in other charming ways -- including friendly service and $2.25 cans of beer in the coffee shop connected on the first floor. As a haven to come back to in order to get some rest after hours touring the city, the Clyde was perfect. I don't know that we'd stay in this part of the city again, but if we did, we'd come back to the Clyde in a heartbeat.
I had a fantastic stay at Casa by Clyde in downtown Portland! Booking was a breeze, and they were flexible with my arrival time. They stored my luggage when I got in early, and they even checked me in ahead of schedule. The room was spotless and cozy—exactly what I needed after a long trip. The front desk team was incredibly helpful and friendly, offering great recommendations around town. I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. Highly recommend.
