I used to highly recommend Reserve Health, but unfortunately, the quality of care has declined significantly over the past year. When I first started coming here, I had a wonderful experience. The doctors, specifically Alisha, were incredible advocates for my health and the location in Uptown Charlotte was extremely convenient. However, the practice has recently been a "revolving door" of providers. My favorite doctors have all left, and the consistency of care has vanished. Most recently, I’ve faced several barriers: • Gatekeeping by Staff: When trying to address an important medical issue, I was blocked from speaking with a provider by the administrative staff (Keisha) because they deemed my concern "not urgent" enough. • Lack of Follow-up: After a procedure, I waited over 6 days for a response to an online inquiry regarding my results. I eventually had to call them myself just to move things forward. • Communication Breakdown: When I requested a referral to discuss those results elsewhere, I was told there was "no point" since they couldn't discuss the results with me anyway—leaving me in a frustrating loop without answers. I tried to reach out to leadership (Dr. Biondi) privately to resolve this, but couldn't find a way to contact them directly. If you are looking for a practice that prioritizes patient advocacy and stable doctor-patient relationships, I sadly no longer believe this is the place.
Horrible experience. Struggling with a head injury and they almost locked me in the doctors office. They completely forgot about me and I was in the back room for an hour and half. Appointment was at 3 pm and there was no other patient in the office. 4:30 pm rolled around (they close at 5) and I began to worry. I walked outside to ask to use the restroom and their faces looked stunned and mouths dropped open because they clearly forgot about me. They started to scurry and the doctor immediately came back with me. She apologized and said she didn’t know I was back there (not her fault, she wasn’t told). I received zero follow up multiple times about a neurologist and cardiologist. I was very nice and forgiving at the doctors office after the event even though I had bad pressure in my head from the concussion. I had to call and do all my own follow ups after I was told they would be following up with me. Woman that works the phones told me I was being “snooty” when I was asking when I would be able to get the neurologist referral because I had to keep following up with them. The lack of care and negligence and bed side manner is lacking immensely. I spoke to the same woman when I called another time to speak to my doctor because he told me to follow up with any issues dealing with the head injury. I was struggling significantly and called, same woman answered, she told me I needed to pay my bill before I could speak to the doctor. I told her I couldn’t physically get up to get my purse on the other side of the house and she told me to call back when I could and pay it and then I could speak to the doctor. This is only a few events that occurred. I switched providers to someone who cares for their patience health. Side note: the doctors here have been amazing but impossible to get care due to the negligence of this one person

I've been a patient at Reserve Health for 3 years and have always had a positive experience. I now have a new provider, PA Alicia and a new MA, James and they are wonderful. They were so attentive and intentional about getting to know me. The best part was that Alicia already knew my medical history really well before she met with me the first time. I also want to mention Diane, who has worked there since before I became a patient and always is ready to help answer any questions I have. Thank you Reserve Health for taking care of my health.
I’ve been going to this practice for the past 3 years, and it is by far the best. Alicia goes above and beyond every time. I am genuinely grateful for her level of care and expertise. She explains in a way I can understand. She is very patient and thorough. From scheduling to well after I’m home, the staff is super sweet with follow ups.
If you’ve been searching for a sign to make an appointment here, consider this it. I’ve never felt more genuinely heard, understood, and respected during a doctor’s visit. The level of care, attentiveness, and professionalism exceeded all expectations — it was truly a refreshing experience.
