I cannot thank Fred and Jeremy enough!! I have a 2013 Toyota Prius and soon after I purchased it, I discovered that it consumes more oil than it should. The advice I was given at the time was to just keep topping it off, so I did. Fast forward a couple of years: my check engine light came on indicating I needed a new catalytic converter, which I was told wasn't essential as long as the car was running okay. After ignoring the light, a few more issues popped up and the engine began overheating. I brought it to Glendale Automotive and they discovered the issues were related to the engine's cooling system, which they were able to resolve quickly. They also found me an aftermarket catalytic converter for a much better price than the dealership. When that pesky check engine light came back on, they did some deep detective work and discovered the EGR valve needed to be replaced. They found that the cooler plate the valve attaches to was completely clogged with carbon deposits—which was likely the root cause of many of my issues. After they went to work fixing that, I came away with a much clearer picture of how to proactively maintain my car to prevent this from happening again. No other mechanic believed in my car like these guys! I saved myself the cost of a new car!! I highly recommend that if you live in the Glendale neighborhood, you trust your vehicle with them. For in-depth issues, time and patience are key, but rest assured that your vehicle is in good hands.

Fred is so helpful and goes above and beyond to provide the best customer service! He picks up my car and drops it off for me which is so helpful because I'm a small business owner and don't always have the time or means to go back and forth to his shop. I've also always felt that I can trust that he's being honest with me about what's wrong and isn't going to overcharge me or take advantage of my lack of car maintenance knowledge. I love Glendale Automotive and recommend them to my friends all the time!
