My vehicle was struggling to start after the snow hit. Called to set up an appointment and Rick came out within an hour. He immediately got to work and replaced my starter and even cleaned up the wires. Very professional and diligent.
Rick is fantastic! He came out to my location, went out of his way to pick up what was needed, and serviced my car quickly and efficiently. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for someone reliable who gets the job done right, Rick is definitely your guy.

2/2026 update: OUTSTANDING service again!!! I made an appointment with him because it wasn't an urgent fix, just a necessary one. I thought the problem was one thing, turned out to be another, much cheaper, fix. He changed the price to reflect that! This man, Ricky, truly is an Honest man. It's refreshing. Tacturn and diligent, he makes zero fuss and fixes the vehicle. I am so pleased to have found this mechanic and he's got my business as long as he wants it. I absolutely recommend Ricky and his sidekick, I will definitely be asking for more appointments as I fix up my vehicles. (There's still so much to do!) Power window and broken open door lock. 11/2025 Absolutely OUTSTANDING service! Ricky came out today and fixed my radiator for an extremely reasonable price. He was fast, thorough, professional and kind. I set up my service (including a rough estimate because I had a clue what was wrong) via text. I've just had surgery on my mouth and it's very painful to talk. Ricky didn't expect or need, excessive conversation. He came out when he said he would and got right to work on the problem. I texted around 830pm, and he offered to come the next morning! I needed to wait a day, and he was very accommodating to my needs. He checked stuff I didn't expect him to check and fixed that too. (It was all related to the repair that was requested) I asked a few questions because my truck is a bit rough with over 300000 miles. His knowledge base is extensive. His manner is professional. His demeanor, kind. He put my nerves at ease with his answers. Ricky came out to my apartment complex when he said he would, and fixed it fast! He told me I could wait in my home and be comfortable, "go relax", if I wanted to. I thought that was very kind in light of my medical mess. I chose to hang out in the passenger seat and leave him to it. He was fine with wherever I wanted to be. I'm simply over-the-moon to have my big ole' truck back on the road, working as she should! Yay!!! Did I mention the price? He brought it all in UNDER the estimate, and the estimate was extremely reasonable! As an aside, I asked how to fix a piece of trim that got knocked off last year in Minnesota. I didn't expect him to do anything with it, I was only hoping for advice, but I happened to have all the parts here, (sheer luck!) so he fixed that too! I'm just so freaking grateful and happy with the service I received. I will absolutely be calling again because I have issues with the Toyota too. But that can wait a minute now that my big ole' truck is back on the road! I highly and whole-heartedly recommend Honesty Mobile Mechanic! If you need help, call here first! I'm going to! paid Ricky $1200 to come out to my place and install new lifters on the right side of my Dodge ram 1500. First off he ordered the wrong lifters, they were for a 2019 Dodge Challenger. Second off when he put everything back together, he installed the main valve cover gasket around the outside of the valve cover, but not around the spark plugs so oil was pouring out of the engine. Lastly, because of the wrong lifters that were installed, the push rods ended up bending on the right side of the engine and snapping off the Dow pin to the camshaft, which in return now the engine is smoked unless I wanna put a new camshaft in the engine, new push rods, and the correct lifters this time around . I’m trying to get in contact with Ricky but he’s not answering my phone calls. I just want my money back so I can pay for the engine to be fixed correctly this time. I will delete this post if Ricky gets back a hold of me and gives me back my money , if he does not return my phone call with plans of paying my money back then I guess the next step is small claims court. I guess I’m gonna have to file a lawsuit against him. I would advise anybody who reads this review to take it seriously do your background checks on people don’t trust , anybody to work on your vehicles? It takes an experienced mechanic with knowledge gain from years of schooling and experience to do engine work on a vehicle.
