I've been seeing Dr. Adebimpe for a few years now and would highly recommend her to anyone if asked. She and the staff are always very friendly and helpful if I have any questions regarding my health. I love all of my doctors from Novant.
I am a new patient and wanted to see a specific doctor but she wasn’t accepting new patients and all they had available was Dr. Keyunna Austin (No wonder why). I still went ahead with the visit despite seeing the bad reviews thinking it can’t be that bad . The first visit was ok, the second was a follow up which lasted less than 10 minutes. This doctor ignored my concerns about me dealing with a sore throat and cough for a week, didn’t even bother to check my tonsils or cough. Told me she can prescribe some medication not antibiotics and told me to watch it for another week as if I hadn’t already struggled for a whole week prior. Anyways she increased my prescription for the follow up I went for and I was out shortly. Few days later, I get notified about a $290 bill for this visit. I called them and found out they had added code for 20-30 min visit when I was there for less than 10 minutes. Bill was adjusted with a new code but it barely went down. As the other reviews mentioned seems like all she cares about is how much money she can pocket from the patients.

“You should see a specialist ASAP. Oh, but we won’t release your records for at least two weeks.” Negligence: treated me without more than 3 years of my medical history. I didnt realize the full history hadn’t been transferred and they never asked for it. It was only after asking them many questions did I find that out. Also during my annual the doctor said “you do self breast exams? Cool then I won’t do one” LOL WHAT
