I spent three hours at the Thermal Springs yesterday (didn’t stay at the hotel). It was a fantastic experience. I spent time in both levels, including outside. Pro tip: you can’t have your phone in the silent subterranean level so if you get bored easily and like to read, you can bring a Kindle down there. You don’t need to bring a water bottle to the spa, they have reusable water cups for water and tea and there are several stations set up for it. I loved it so much that I want to plan a trip with my spouse around coming to the “spa” including staying at the hotel. I’d planned on eating at the cafe which looked great, but it was dinner time and the menu at Terra Mae looked awesome. It was a perfect meal. I’m absolutely coming back, possibly in just a few days 😆
I went to the spa only for 3 hours. It had a wonderful variety of pools: a hot pool, a cold pool, an ambient pool and a mineral pool. There is a nice steam room and a variety of saunas. I spent most of my time in the sanctuary where I didn’t have to talk…in fact no talking or phones were allowed at all. Everything was very clean. There was hot tea, water and ice water. Unfortunately, I picked a day that the restaurant attached to the spa was closed so I can’t rate that. The staff were efficient and friendly at all times. The manager was very kind and welcoming as well. I truly enjoyed my visit and when I’m back in Portland I will be going there again!

This space is really amazing - the PLANTS are really one of the best parts (tropical and grand). I really love that you get 3 hours to enjoy the spaces, as that gives you plenty of time to try out different spots without feeling rushed. The outdoors is clean and stylish. Only complaint was the music was too upbeat for a spa experience. Indoors, in the Conservatory, the plants made it feel like you were in Hawaii (complete with warm, humid air). And then in the basement, was the "Sanctuary" with another great sauna and all the soaking pools. The lighting and cave like atmosphere was really fun. Will definitely return here.
Wow wow wow!! First off the website does not do this property justice!! the degree of relaxation that you get from even a day stay at this place is worth every penny!! The saunas, pools, outdoor space, the numerous food options, and most importantly, the care and attention from the staff is truly world class!! I am also very particular when it comes to cleanliness, and attention to detail, and if I could give this place 10 stars I would! Huge thank you to Dustin the head of fitness for making this a Portland trip of a lifetime!!
This place was amazing and I will be coming back again and again. The way the rooms are easy to get around and access made the atmosphere so relaxing. Moving into the sanctuary with the red light sauna and ambient pool was the best way to relax. The soft sounds of water and the slience in the air is something I will never forget. We left here relaxed and serene! This was the best anniversary activity and suggest everyone visit this establishment.
