I participated as a food vendor at Heritage and Science Park during Chinese New Year week, and it was a wonderful experience. The event was lively and fun, with a great atmosphere. The organizers were professional and handled everything very well. The park itself is beautiful, with many trees providing shade, and it’s not dusty like some outdoor venues. Very comfortable environment for both vendors and guests. Highly recommend this place for community events!
We only visited to walk around the Heritage Square area of the park, but we loved our visit and thought the entire area was beautiful - the historical buildings, welcome office, and the museums (which we look forward to returning to one day). This felt like a great place to bring families while exploring beautiful Phoenix!

Went here for a Hungarian Cultural Festival and it was such a perfect spot for it. Great spot for small festivals, especially with the shade and convenient downtown location. Looking forward to attending future events here.
I only walked through the houses. I did not go to the museum which seems oriented for children. The residential Heritage area is quite a small. I appreciate they have kept several of the houses in tact to give you an indication of how the pioneers settled into this region. I wanted to visit The Rosson House but the hours of visiting are really short and the list of days are also limited. My recommendation would be to make this part of larger downtown crawl.
Nicely preserved houses, and the park is beautiful to walk around. The houses have been repurposed to serve as offices and restaurants. While the other houses have been redesigned as a museum and store.
