We visited Beacon Park located at Grand River Avenue in Detroit. We visited the place on a weekend for their CandyLand Winter Display Experience which opens daily from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Step into the magical world of Candyland. We went in the evening to see the display of lights and decorations. It’s like stepping into the magical world of Candyland. Displayed on the park was a Giant size gingerbread house, Full size gingerbread man, Walk through candy cane arch and Snowflake. Displayed are also Large candy canes, cupcakes, candy swirls, LED light canopy and Themed pole decor 🥰. There is also roadside parking with some free and some paid.
My sister circle and I truly enjoy viewing the holiday-themed decorations at Beacon Park. The festive atmosphere is always a delight, and we appreciate the creativity on display. It truly captures the joy of the season! #HolidayDecorations #BeaconPark #SisterCircle #FestiveSpirit

Visit Beacon Park during the holidays for a wonderful photo op with their life size Candyland decor! It's absolutely beautiful! We had a ball running around taking pics!
Small but beautiful park, lots of places around to get food. Shaded areas to sit. Different activities rotate. We saw the Optik, fun and beautiful!
We went on a Friday Night. It was gorgeous out. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend the Meatballs. They were best I have had in city. It's a nice place. I only wish the cleared dishes away faster. I stared at empty plates for most my evening, even when they came back to table several times. We stayed for a few more drinks after food and they just kept building up. They also have servers with tables at opposite ends of the restaurant, so it can take a while for server to return. Not the servers fault, just an annoying business practice. Just something to be aware of if you don't like to wait a long time between table stops. Definitely worth going back again for the food. What I saw everyone else eating also looked really good.
