The technician was super friendly, clearly explaining the necessary repairs and the total cost upfront. I had a slow kitchen sink drain, which I tried to fix on my own with a drain auger, to no avail. I contacted Roto-Rooter, and they sent out Joe within two hours. Joe took his time analyzing my home and its unique features and told me exactly what he would do to resolve the issue. Sure enough, Joe rotted out the line multiple times and ensured the clog was completely removed. The sink is now draining lightening-quick! Thank you, Joe and Roto-Rooter!!
I didn't want to leave a review, because I didn't have anything good to say. My issues started when I had an appointment set up in the morning and no one showed up all day. Later on that evening I get a call from you guys explaining why no one showed up and that they'll have scheduled for the next day between 10 - 12am in which the guy showed closer to 4pm. I just thought things happen. I told the guy my problem, which was the water in my basement bathroom was being tucked out of the toilet bowl and when I turned on the sink water, the sewer water came up through my shower drain. He did check to confirm what I had described to him. He then asked about and concluded a system cleaning is the problem and solution to everything. Halfway through the cleaning, he asked if I had a sump pump or ejector, I had an ejector. Which turned out, after he checked it, to be the actual problem. My financial obligation went from a $900 bill to $2400, ok things happen again. Then I come down to check the progress, I right away noticed he used my decorative towels i had hanging up to clean up some of the mess without asking, I cold of grabbed some ripped up towels. Don't use my nice towels. Then after he left I noticed he used my mop, of which I kinda don't mind, but ask if it's ok and clean out afterwards instead leaving things as you see fit and tracking up my carpet. As I'm making my payment, he says that I don't like doing this job. I know everyone has a bad day, but if you come to work you have to go work and give your best. I explained to him I'm a firefighter and I can't make the that statement, because people may die if I don't come with better attitude and not give my best, but anyway. I really didn't want to make review, but someone said I should because was angry.
Roto-Rooter was fast and efficient with appointment confirmation and dispatch alert. Joe, our plumber, was thorough in explanation of why the issue occurred, what he was going to do, and how to prevent future issues. Thank you for the wonderful service on such a hot day!
