Outstanding steakhouse experience! The restaurant is spotless and the staff are friendly and attentive. Our server Adam was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. The Tomahawk Steak and Filet Mignon were delicious, and the grilled vegetables were a great side. Only note: the mac and cheese was a bit strong for our kids, so a lighter cheese option would be nice. The lava cake and key lime pie were the perfect finish. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!
I’ve been waiting to come back here while I was in town for work since last year. I had the amazing opportunity to be served by Jolelh again at the bar. Once again excellent service, atmosphere and most importantly the food. I went with special the Wild Game Trio, I got this last year but it excluded the elk and was sausage instead (which was delicious btw) but! This year it was the Elk, Venison & Bison! Which was absolute perfection. One of the best dishes I’ve had in my life and I hope the Chef keeps this 3 meats on the special here on out! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Wife and I spent the weekend in Dallas for our 6th anniversary. First time eating at Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse. Marcos Ruiz was our waiter and he was fantastic. We're from the Seattle area and there is rarely any good customer service. Marcos was very nice, communicative, conscientious of our beverages. My wife ordered the Bleu Cheese crusted filet, I ordered the Mixed Grill (an assortment of wild game meats). She says her meal was phenomenal and my Wild Game plate was out of this world. I am a meat connoisseur, and this was the best meat I've ever eaten! when Marcos asked me how I wanted it prepared, I told him to "knock the horns off and chunk it on the plate." That's exactly how it was brought to the table. All the meats were top shelf!! Whatever this place pays their chefs isn't enough! I've never had meat this delicious and if we ever make it back to Dallas, this is where we'll come. I'll remember this meal the rest of my life!!
This was my first time trying Y.O. The decor fit the theme. A large elk was on the wall above the hostess. I could tell I was in for a memorable experience. Our server came to the table and explained the menu in detail, she was very helpful and informative. I ordered the venison chop with an elk steak as a side. The meal came out quickly and the dishes looked like art on the plates. The elk was cooked to perfection at my requested medium rare. It almost melted in my mouth and was very flavorful. It came placed in a bed of wild rice and had a blueberry reduction poured strategically on top of it. The venison was also plated on a bed of wild rice and it was smothered with a brown mushroom gravy. Both dishes had their own wonderfully unique flavor while neither were “gamey”. The portions were perfect, I could barely finish. I had no room for dessert. The atmosphere, service, food and overall experience were all top tier. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The best experience for a meat lover! The food is so delicious! The drink is also very good and the server gives good recommendations based on the food you order! Our server, Jeff, is incredible! You can totally feel his passion for the job and as the customers we feel very content! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
