I have been a patient of Dr. Zahra Karmali for probably over 20 years, and she is, without a doubt, the best physician I have ever had. I truly wish all doctors were like her. From the very start, Dr. Karmali has shown incredible kindness, genuine care, and exceptional listening skills. She doesn't just hear you; she truly listens to your concerns and respects your personal health philosophy. What makes her unique, especially as a mainstream doctor, is her complete support for my desire to use natural and holistic solutions. At the beginning of our relationship, I told her I didn't want to rely on prescriptions, and for two decades, she has honored that request, never pushing medication. She respects that I want to avoid being on a "ton of medications." Dr. Karmali is a true partner in my healthcare. She is open to my research and will suggest specialists that she knows I will prefer. More importantly, she actively listens to my feedback—whether positive or negative—about the specialists we try. She even shares recommendations from her other patients who have had good experiences. She truly is there to help her patients. If you are looking for a doctor who is caring, supportive, listens carefully, and partners with you on your health journey, look no further. Highly, highly recommend!
Dr. Karmali is hands down one of the BEST physicians I have ever seen. Truly a Godsend. I’ve never met a more patient, kind, thorough and caring doctor. She truly LISTENS to your concerns and does everything within her power to help. She even goes above and beyond to evaluate your overall health checking things she notices that you wouldn’t have thought to ask about. Her staff is just as attentive and kind, willing to go the extra mile to ensure your concerns are met with solutions. I am so so grateful to my friend for recommending her.
