We visited on a weekday, and overall it was a nice outing, especially for families with young kids. The area has a great atmosphere and plenty to keep children entertained. There’s even a Hilton hotel right on-site, which makes it convenient if you’re planning to stay overnight and explore at a relaxed pace. The Ferris wheel is reasonably priced and offers a fun experience for kids and adults alike. The views from the top are enjoyable, and the wait time was fairly short — around 10 to 30 minutes — which was manageable. Reservations are recommended, especially if you’re visiting during busier times. The Children’s Museum is cute and well-designed, but in my opinion, $21 per child feels a bit expensive. I think $15 would be more reasonable. While it’s engaging and colorful, younger kids might lose interest quickly and be ready to leave sooner than expected. It would be great if they allowed children to try a section first before committing to the full ticket price. That said, they do offer passes and membership options, which can provide good value if you plan to visit often. Another interesting highlight is the Opera House, which I’m planning to check out on my next visit. Overall, it’s a pleasant place to spend a few hours with family, especially if you take advantage of discounts and plan ahead.
This is what Chicago is about! What a great place! You can walk along the water and get great views of lake Michigan or you can just sit around and maybe see a good performance from the locals. There are plenty of boating options including slow and calm cruises and super fast speed boats. And of course there's the famous Ferris wheel 🎡. It is a must go I've been on it multiple times. There's plenty of food here and clean public restrooms. What a great place.

Navy Pier is such a vibrant and unforgettable destination! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with stunning views of Lake Michigan and the beautiful Chicago skyline. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing — perfect for families, couples, or even a solo day out. There’s so much to see and do, from great restaurants and unique shops to fun attractions and entertainment. The highlight for me was riding the iconic Centennial Wheel — the panoramic views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset! Everything was clean, well-organized, and full of positive energy. Whether you’re visiting for sightseeing, dining, or just a peaceful walk by the water, Navy Pier is truly a must-visit spot in Chicago. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place is so much fun. Love all the food options inside along with dessert options as well. I've been here a few times but the latest time has been the funniest for sure. We dropped out daughter and her friend off at Hard Rock for a concert so me and the wife drove here to spend the time here to waste time. The great views of Lake Michigan are awesome. Checking out all the views from each side is so fun and so pretty. We went inside and found a great dessert place for us to have since we ate a late lunch at a place before we got there. The dessert was so so good something we wished had back at home. Lots of gift shops too found some stuff we wanted and some good candy as well. Love all the places we can take pictures of us by the lake and city line. This particular evening they had fireworks and let me tell you the Pier didn't disappoint at all they were wonderful. And city skyline line with buildings at night was wonderful. Easy to get in and out of too which hard to say about most places in Chicago. This is a must tourist attraction you have to see for yourself.
Went here with my family, we really liked it. Me and my sister went to get ice cream and some dessert at a place and found out there more than 5, the attractions are pretty cool and fun. We liked how walkable it is, it’s real impressive. Food was great. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed every second of it
