My overnight experience was very good. The rooms were totally clean, neat and looked almost newly renovated. I loved the coffee station at the front desk area that was available 24 hours. One area of concern would be the check in process. When we arrived the front desk attendant appeared to be frustrated and in No way patient with the process. Not sure if our arrival disturbed his dinner time, but the other front desk attendant helping another person was very nice. Overall it was a great experience and I would for sure put this on my list to stop in the future.
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Suites Perrysberg SW was great as far as the room goes, and the location. The hotel was new, clean and very comfortable. However, the customer service was horrible. I had emailed the hotel prior to our stay requesting a crib for my 7 month old infant, they confirm that they could put the note for a crib on my reservation. Upon arrival, I asked about the crib and I was told “sorry, it’s first come first serve and we have none available”. The first come first serve comment was never noted in my email from the hotel and I wish it was. Front of house was incredibly dismissive, especially after the stress of traveling with a baby and a toddler expecting a crib. There was no apology or any option of a solution. Even before the crib disappointment we were not greeted with a “hello” or “welcome” upon our arrival for check in. We were made to feel like we were interpreting the managers evening. Horrible way to start our stay. Luckily, the room and cleanliness of the hotel made up for the horrible customer service. We experienced the same unenthusiastic greeting from the restaurant hostess, however our waitress for dinner was lovely and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel for traveling families, it was close to the interstate and the pool was a hit with my toddler. It was convenient to have a restaurant on site as well. However, I think some customer service training needs to be revisited by the staff tending to the front desk.

I stayed here for a couple of weeks for business. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dresser and hangers in the closet were super convenient and I didn't have to live out of my suitcase. The staff was always kind and communicative. I opted out of housekeeping services for the majority of my stay, but the male housekeeper that I often saw while heading out for the morning made sure to ask each time if I needed any extra supplies when he saw me. The front desk staff was friendly and informative at all points in my stay, but Ms. Tamicko (I hope I spelled it correctly!) was the best! I spent time in the entertainment area downstairs when I couldn't sleep and Ms. Tamicko kept me company while still tending to other guests. She made my stay better with just her company. I highly recommend this location.
I just want to say what a pleasure it was staying here this week! This hotel was the destination for my sister’s memorial/celebration of life a year ago. The room was wonderful and the food great! More than that, though, is the kindness and support Peter showed my mom and all the staff provided throughout the event. A year later, I am staying here with my son for Christmas/NY week. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! They are cleaned immaculately and the staff welcomed us by NAME! Jeremy checked us in and his attention to detail and positive attitude was great! We were given water bottles upon checking in (few places do that any more). I stayed at the Ritz in the 1990’s and that was the only other hotel that remembered my name. Very impressive! Rashaana helped me solve a little problem I was having (unrelated to the hotel) during my stay and treated me like I was an old friend! The attached restaurant is REALLY GOOD! For a bar and grill, the food was shockingly good! The breakfast buffet is generous and wonderful too and very reasonably priced! It is also such a nice touch to have snacks and toiletries for sale 24/7 in the lobby — even microwaveable food! I love that there is a laundry room that is clea and modern. Jeremy even offered me detergent after I got quarters from him. Wow wow wow! The workout room is well equipped, everything worked perfectly and it was super clean. Offering towels and a filtered water dispenser is really an “above and beyond” feature. And there is an indoor heated pool! I really can’t believe this is a Holiday Inn. It ranks up there with some nice, very expensive Hiltons I have stayed at in big cities in California!!!
I’m surprised at the highly rated reviews here for this hotel. The lobby is very nice and we had a pleasant interaction with the front desk staff so we thought we were off to a good start. When we got into the room it smelled of sewage. The shower was moldy and wallpaper was peeling. There was dirt and hair in the shower. The toilet rocked and was not stable leading us to believe this was where the sewage odor was coming from. The mattresses had divots and sagged so it was not comfortable for us. I will say the staff addressed most of these concerns via text messages but we were already settled into the room so we didn’t want to pack up again. We opted in for the breakfast buffet. It is in the attached restaurant. It was an upgrade from the usual breakfast that you get for free at other hotels and the wait staff was really nice but there is an upcharge of $10 pp plus gratuity per day for the breakfast. I don’t believe this hotel warrants the higher price tag compared to others in the vicinity. We were expecting a higher level of comfort and while the lobby is very inviting the rooms lack cleanliness, comfort and maintenance.
