Dr.Ashitey is an amazing primary care physician. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and truly takes the time to listen. I never feel rushed during appointments, and she always makes sure I fully understand what’s going on with my health and the plan moving forward. If you’re looking for a doctor who is caring, informative, and genuinely invested in your well-being, I highly recommend her.
Dr. Ashitey is the best doctor I’ve ever had. The entire practice is amazing but she is just top notch! Having a doctor that hears you and cares means everything to me! Her expert knowledge on anything and her infectious personality makes you actually want to see your doctor even when you feel bad or anxious.
Dr. Ashitey is GREAT. She's very thorough and listens to all my medications concerns. Always willing to adjust any meds if needed. Always offer referrals to appropriate specialists if needed. I would give her and her nurse 10 stars 🌟. My 3 star rating is for the other staff who sometimes appear disinterested in anything you have to say. Billing is not always accurate and they don't seem to care to find out why. They send text messages 2 or 3 days before scheduled appt asking for copay. Months later they say you didn't pay copay when you came in on that date. NO I DID NOT BECAUSE I Already PAID days before! But they threaten to cancel current visit and say they will bill $50 missed appt fee if you don't pay the $25 copay which I had already paid in advance like they requested. It's a cycle that happens too much. They refused to let me see Dr. Ashitey because I was 5 minutes late because of snow and ice everywhere. I pleaded that I had driven for 45 minutes to get there and she said no I'm going to cancel this appointment and you can reschedule. I'd already paid the copay online prior to driving in. She said I could come back later that afternoon and not get billed the $50 cancelation fee. Mind you, my original appointment was for the previous day which they called me after hours and canceled due to the snow and ice everywhere.

Finding a provider that will take the time to look at the whole patient is so rare nowadays. Working with Dr. Ashitay is a breath of fresh air in that regard. She considers all of the lifestyle components that can influence a patient’s health, beyond just what numbers say. I feel like she can make better recommendations with that approach and am thankful for her.
I had a good experience with Dr. Ashitey, however it is very difficult to get an appointment with her when needed. This is not ideal when establishing a relationship with a new primary care provider. For this reason and other concerns with the front desk staff I plan to find a new primary care physician.
