I brought my partner here for our anniversary, and what an incredible choice that was. All of the staff we interacted with were delightful, Haley was an absolute ray of sunshine, but we were really blown away by our bartender, Nate. We got some menu cocktails and some bartender's choice, and in the latter Nate really shined - creative and clearly knows how to balance flavors well to make the perfect drink for your taste. The food was fabulous, we really loved the spreads that came with our focaccia (and experimented with using them a bit on our potatoes too - 10/10). I had the porchetta sandwich and it was incredibly tender. I love that they source everything locally - while a touch on the expensive side, you get what you pay for in portion and quality. Really amazing place if you're looking to splurge!
My husband and I went to Scratch & Co. for the first time expecting to get a burger, but once we arrived we realized the menu changes quite a bit on weekends. We ended up ordering the meatloaf, trout, and the smashed potatoes — and honestly, it turned out to be a great surprise. When I think of classic American comfort food, meatloaf (fun fact: meatloaf actually originated in Germany & Belgium!) is always the first thing that comes to mind, and theirs is absolutely divine. It’s not greasy at all, perfectly pan-seared with a nice crust, and served with mashed potatoes topped with crispy onions — just perfect. The smashed potatoes were also excellent, and the garlic aioli was spot on: light, balanced, and with a gentle touch of garlic. I also ordered a hibiscus tea that was really good — refreshing and well balanced. Our server, Nicole, was wonderful: attentive, kind, explained the dishes well, and had such a great energy — same goes for the host! We’ll definitely be back to try the burger. This place was a very pleasant surprise.

Really delicious brunch spot, the breakfast sandwich on the salted bagel was good. It wasn’t anything special or ingenious- just a fresh bagel with egg and bacon. The vibes were fantastic, great aesthetic, cozy spot. Donuts were amazing- get one for sure. Like many though, I agree that it’s overpriced. $70 for two sandwiches and two mimosas doesn’t really make a lot of sense. You are not getting what you pay for in that sense. As well, the bartender was looking for a lost receipt by way of taking all of them out of the trash and putting them on the clean glasses sifting through them. That was a bit weird and non hygienic, wouldn’t recommend doing that. Once it’s in the trash, best sift somewhere not behind the bar.
Delicious food and excellent service! Sat at the bar and Nate (bartender) was attentive, knowledgeable, and made some incredible dealer's choice drinks. The focaccia and spreads were a stand out starter and we tried the spreads on the smashed potatoes as well (which was a delicious experiment.) I do wish the bread order came with more slices, especially when getting both spreads, but we ended up getting an additional order of bread to finish them out. A little bummed that they were out of ice cream so we couldn't try the Scratch Sundae, but we got the mango gelato and added hot fudge and it was another delectable adventure. Overall a very solid experience and recommended to try out!
I'll start by saying that this was my first time at Scratch and it might have been an off day. I very much support small businesses and think we need more of them, and I loved the vibe at this restaurant! That being said, almost everything else left a lot to be desired. We went on a Sunday late-morning. Our server was very nice, but the service itself was incredibly slow and clunky. We had to chase him down to get a refill on coffee. The food took a while, and when it came it was lukewarm. There was no option to get anything green instead of potatoes (so I asked that they be left off the plate) and everything (and I mean everything) was fried including the bagel which was chewy and tough. I got the sausage and was completely underwhelmed with the flavor and texture. The real kicker was the price. Two classic breakfasts, with two eggs each, a bagel each, a small side of smear each, one side of potatoes, one side of pakora (which was more like pakora hush puppies) and one piece of sausage, along with two drip coffees came to $56. After everything was said and done and the 3% surcharge was added for credit cards, I paid $70 for a meal that felt incredibly underwhelming.
