Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Akron Fairlawn

Easy access off the highway with close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and a variety of stores. Check-in was smooth thanks to the friendly and helpful front desk staff, and our room was clean with very comfortable beds. One small note: an extra blanket in the room would have been nice, and the bath towels were smaller than expected our first night. That said, they were promptly replaced with plush, full-size towels the next day, which we appreciated. The front desk team truly went above and beyond. Bill was welcoming and friendly at check-in, and Marcus was incredibly helpful and accommodating at check-out when we had to leave a day early due to a severe storm. Glenn, the general manager, was fantastic. I noticed how diligently he was cleaning and restocking the breakfast area in the morning, all while being kind and friendly with guests and making sure everything from water and milk to yogurt and muffins was well stocked. Everyone we encountered was warm and professional. We found the pricing reasonable, enjoyed the pool and whirlpool on the first floor, and appreciated how quiet the hotel was, even though it was full, we didn’t hear any noise from our room. The location is very convenient, with plenty of parking the stay was comfortable, and we’re truly grateful for the hospitality. We will absolutely be back.

I stayed for one night in November, 2025. The check-in experience with the night auditor was a breeze. He was polite, efficient and made sure I knew about all of the hotel amenities. It looks as though rooms have been recently refurbished. It was modern, comfortable and clean. Towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, iron and board - everything you could expect was there for my convenience. I did not have the morning breakfast, but I could hear the staff member talking to everyone while I was in the lobby and she sounded polite and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
