I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Huber Heights and overall had a very good experience. The hotel itself was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. My room was spacious, quiet, and exactly what I expect from a Hampton — comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and everything in good working order. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus, with plenty of hot and cold options to choose from each morning! The location is convenient with easy highway access and several restaurants nearby, which made getting around simple. The only downside during my stay was the night staff. While daytime staff were friendly and welcoming, the overnight front desk team came across as unfriendly and somewhat dismissive. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did stand out compared to the otherwise positive service experience. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and location. With a little improvement in nighttime customer service, it would easily be a full five stars!
The person who got us breakfast deserves 5 stars, and so do the housekeepers! But the lady who checked me in last night had a terrible attitude, not sure why, and I felt like she overcharged me. I called before I got there to get a price quote and talked to a really nice guy. He gave me a price, and I'd also checked online, and it was the same price he quoted me. But her... she must've thought she needed a tip. I also asked for a receipt and was told they couldn't give me one.

Extremely noisy hotel. The rooms are perfectly fine. But we’ve stayed there twice now, driving through, and both times it has been very noisy. Also, the breakfast left something to be desired, even for a free continental breakfast. We’ll be staying elsewhere in the future.
After driving in from Maryland, through the mountains in the rain most of the day, this hotel was a welcome respite. The weather had cleared by the time we reached Ohio, and when I entered the lobby, I immediately knew why: Samantha (Sam). There is no way the rainy weather we had driven through could compete with her megawatt smile and her cheerful disposition. My brief interaction with her during check-in really served to lift my spirits. As for the hotel, it's right off the interstate, convenient to food and shopping. There is a Five Guys right across the street! All of the staff were incredibly friendly. As usual for Hampton Inns, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the breakfast was exactly what you expect.
The air condition had a code on it that said it needed service so the room wouldn't get below 71. The switches to control the window blind was broken so that didn't work. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and lock. Wall art was broken and had giant crack going down the wall. And when I told the person at the counter about it, they told me they had no other rooms available. And if management would like to contact me, I have photos and video of everything. By far one of my worst hotel stays
