I am very pleased with the service and quality of work that TAR Roofing provided. They were extremely responsive from quoting through completion, their pricing is very fair, and their workmanship is very good! And, my new roof looks beautiful. Additionally, they did an excellent job cleaning up after the project was completed. I give them my highest recommendation!
Avoid at all costs. We paid TAR $16,000 for a full replacement of our flat roof and within a week were getting stains on our ceiling during rain when we had never had leaking before. We gave them 7 opportunities over the course of an entire year to come out and fix the issue and each time their "fix" made the leaks worse. They gaslighted us consistently saying the roof wasn't the problem and had us chasing down other issues like tuckpointing, plumbing, sliding door replacements etc and nothing helped. The damage eventually got so bad that we needed a restoration company to come open up the ceiling in 3 rooms. We finally hired a second company to do another full replacement and haven't had a single issue since then. TAR refused to take any accountability or refund us any money. All told we are out over $40,000 thanks to TAR.

Small residential flat roof resurface and gutter install. There was a downspout mistake on the gutters, but they came back the next day to fix it, which was a Saturday. Their price competes with other quotes and I felt they provided the superior service. TAR did not recommend a roof regrade and there are 2-3 spots where water pools but they provided a five year warranty for the work in the contract.
We had TAR Roofing recently replace the ~1,300 SF flat roof on our condo building. They came recommended and didn’t disappoint. The whole experience was very positive. High level of customer service from every person with whom we interacted. They were responsive with the quote and scheduling the work. They were very efficient with removing existing decking and replacing the roof. They also didn’t leave a trace of leftover debris. Highly recommend Damian and his team.
TAR did a great job of examining the shape our roof was in and giving us options on how we could move forward. We had a couple of leaks in our roof, one that needed a chimney rebuild, and they were able to guide us into next steps, as well as doing a great job on making our roof look like new.
