I am very pleased with the service and quality of work that TAR Roofing provided. They were extremely responsive from quoting through completion, their pricing is very fair, and their workmanship is very good! And, my new roof looks beautiful. Additionally, they did an excellent job cleaning up after the project was completed. I give them my highest recommendation!
Avoid at all costs. We paid TAR $16,000 for a full replacement of our flat roof and within a week were getting stains on our ceiling during rain when we had never had leaking before. We gave them 7 opportunities over the course of an entire year to come out and fix the issue and each time their "fix" made the leaks worse. They gaslighted us consistently saying the roof wasn't the problem and had us chasing down other issues like tuckpointing, plumbing, sliding door replacements etc and nothing helped. The damage eventually got so bad that we needed a restoration company to come open up the ceiling in 3 rooms. We finally hired a second company to do another full replacement and haven't had a single issue since then. TAR refused to take any accountability or refund us any money. All told we are out over $40,000 thanks to TAR.

We've used TAR Roofing three times now (lucky us) and they've been consistently good. Jobs were completed timely and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone that just moved into a house and everything started falling apart in the first year. They also sent us cookies which were surprisingly good. But only after the first time. I would not be mad if they did that again.
This was the initial review of the project, potential scope, and prior to agreeing to move forward with any work. The team was communicative, engaged, and talked about various questions I had for them as we reviewed options. They were very helpful and honest in those discussions, and understood all of my thoughts and potential concerns.
TAR roofing has been such a trusted and reliable contractor for us for years. We have used them multiple times, from gutters, to fixing damaged siding, to repairing roofing tiles and patching leaks.
