After numerous encounters with Thomas & Galbraith after a major basement flood I can say I am more disappointed in the unethical and incompetent workmanship than any other company I have worked with. The lack of respect and effort to solve a problem in my home on not only one, two or three instances should be an indicator of this company's quality of service and ability to take ownership for their errors. I have now been in the process of solving water intrusion into my basement for over a year now since working with Thomas and Galbraith. After "solving" the problem for the last time and installing new flooring in my basement in October of 2025 water yet again entered my basement through the repaired concrete flooring (in April) they completed incorrectly. I feel like I was taken advantage of on multiple occasions and they did not expect me to constantly call them on their mistakes. I made sure to be present during all the work after they were not recording findings, or work throughout the repair process. The customer service was poor when they never respond to calls or emails either. BEWARE-I would NEVER recommend this company for ANYTHING. Question everything, request everything and writing and whatever you do, go with another local company. I have now heard from multiple friends in the Cincinnati area of their own horror stories after sharing my experiences. The common denominator of each plumbing fiasco is Thomas & Galbraith.
I can't say enough positive things about this company! Chris Marrie was our comfort advisor and remained in our corner for over a year as we went back and forth with our Home warranty company. He was patient, knowledgeable, reliable and considerate. We financed after we received approval from the home warranty company and install was next day! Josh and Ethan performed the removal of the old system and installation of the new system in one day! Professional and also both very knowledgeable! Explained everything as they went and had answers for every question we had! I'll sum it up by saying you can't go wrong with Thomas and Galbraith! Thanks Guys!

Yet again, another unexpected home project—this time a sewer line repair and replacement. We have very old pipes, but it was still the last thing we wanted to deal with, especially after a difficult experience with a previous company. Needless to say, we were nervous and had a lot of questions before moving forward. Shawn Hettesheimer was great to work with. Was patient, never made us feel rushed, and took the time to answer our questions and explain our options. Given our previous experience, that meant a lot and helped us feel comfortable moving forward. Kevin led the inside crew, and Todd and Patrick handled the digging outside. Everyone was professional, hardworking, and respectful. They replaced the sewer line both inside and outside the house, and the work was completed exactly as explained. What really stood out was the communication. We always knew what was happening, what to expect next, and what the follow-up would be after the job was completed. That made a stressful and expensive repair much easier to get through. I would definitely recommend Thomas & Galbraith to anyone needing plumbing or sewer work. The workmanship, communication, and customer service were excellent from start to finish. I would also recommend checking the company’s True Comfort Membership. It offers benefits like priority service, maintenance reminders, and discounts on repairs. After dealing with a few unexpected home repairs lately, having something in place to help manage future issues just makes sense. Thank you to Shawn, Kevin, Todd, and Patrick for making a difficult situation much easier than we expected.
10/10 will be using their business again just all around fantastic. I had a terrible plumbing issue in my basement not only were they Kind, polite, professional, and honest, but they took care of the issue quickly, easily and affordably. Tristan was very knowledgeable and reassuring. The arrival window is a bit crazy so it’s hard to narrow down when they might be at the job but it’s worth the wait.
I spent over $14,000 on a new HVAC system after choosing Thomas & Galbraith’s more expensive comfort-focused option because it was presented as the best choice to improve comfort throughout my home. Within hours of installation, they were already back for a service visit, followed by nearly a year of service calls. What was most frustrating was that nearly every visit resulted in a different explanation for the same problem. One technician would adjust airflow, another blamed insulation, another recommended duct modifications for around $2,400, and eventually I was told I needed a mini-split system costing over $33,000. There was very little consistency from one visit to the next. I often found myself explaining the entire history of the issue because each technician seemed to start over rather than build on the previous findings. My biggest disappointment isn’t that my home has ductwork limitations—it’s that I was never given enough information to make an informed decision before spending over $14,000. Had those limitations been explained upfront, I may have made a different decision. After nearly a year of service calls, I was ultimately told the system is working as designed and that I should simply accept not achieving the comfort I paid for. Some technicians were knowledgeable and genuinely tried to help, but the overall experience was inconsistent. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
