Overall great time here at the Celare! Rooms actually stayed cold, were clean and comfy. Aleyjoy at the front desk was a delight! So welcoming, kind and helpful. Donald in maintenance was SO sweet, efficient and kept apologizing for interrupting but we called him in to help us! Chris at the bar in the Iris was so pleasant, accommodating and provided great service! Lastly Mike and the guys (and girl!) at the valet stand were ALWAYS so sweet, welcoming and pleasant to converse with one our way in and out of the hotel! Update!** Wanted to say that Maddie and Dominique at the Vick upstairs on the roof are absolute DELIGHTS. So sweet, welcoming and all around great vibes. Also, Kaela at the front desk is adorable, so helpful and so positive! I really have had such a lovely time here and that is absolutely important when you're away from home!
I came to Hotel Celare on July 11 with my friends. We feel a bit sad because we cannot go to the rooftop bar. But we really enjoy the drink at Iris Coffee.Special thanks to Long at the reception! Iris closed but he still help us find a place to sit. He always smile and very friendly. He help us move to the balcony to continue our drink, it was very nice.

Genuinely one of the better hotel stays I've had recently. All staff was very kind and helpful. The room was well furnished and very clean. The bathroom has a door! The TV has a sleep button that works! The room was actually set to a comfortable temperature when I arrived! HOWEVER, we did have a large party reservation at the Iris Cafe. Service was spotty: we had to ask for some food and drinks multiple times, one item was ordered but never arrived and we had to take it off the bill, and one person's food didn't arrive until everyone else was done eating. Honestly I had a great experience and I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel itself and the rooftop bar were amazing. I'd just recommend anywhere else for dinner.
This is such a special hotel! It is new and beautiful, and perfectly located on the University of Cincinnati's campus. It is walkable to everything. The best part about this hotel are the employees. I'd like to give a special thanks to Aley Joy, who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She helped make our experience memorable, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish. We can't wait to come back. Cincinnati is wonderful and this hotel is a true gem, much in part due to the people here.

Location and Views The hotel's location overlooking the University of Cincinnati campus is stunning. The contemporary design of the rooms takes full advantage of these views, creating an inspiring and energetic atmosphere that perfectly complements the vibrant neighborhood. Room Quality The rooms are beautifully appointed and thoroughly modern. Everything felt thoughtfully designed—from the finishes to the amenities—and the space felt fresh and well-maintained. Waking up to views of the UC campus was a definite highlight. Staff and Service This is where Hotel Celare truly shines. The staff went above and beyond at every interaction. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making my stay exceptional. It's rare to find this level of care and engagement, but it's clearly part of the culture here. Dining The on-site restaurant served an outstanding breakfast. The quality and variety set a high bar for hotel dining—it felt like a real restaurant experience, not an afterthought. Great food and service made starting the day easy. Overall Hotel Celare captures the modern, energetic vibe of Cincinnati and delivers it through exceptional service, beautiful spaces, and genuine attention to detail. Whether visiting for business or leisure, this property deserves to be on your list. Highly recommended.
