Was told that my car got backed into then was told it was side swiped. I took my car in for a leak to end up with no car. Just to be told it will be fix and sold
I had such an amazing experience here! I came in with a loose bumper, and not only did they fix it perfectly, but they also gave me an unbelievably affordable price. The mechanic was super kind and professional, and the customer service overall was top-tier. Fast, friendly, and reliable—definitely recommending them to anyone needing car repairs!

I traveled from Philly to attend a University of Michigan Football game. While in Detroit, I ran over a large screw that caused a slow leak in my tire. This occurred on Friday at approximately 8pm. I called every business I could find on Google, there wasn't anyone open. Even businesses that proclaimed to be 24 Hours, they were closed. Air was slowly leaking out my tire, and if I didn't get it addressed I would have a full flat which would require more of my time. I then called Hartwell Auto, I was skeptical they would be open even though they posted very late hours, but lo and behold they answered. Benjamin said to come on by and he could take care of me right away. I arrived, he got right to work, took care of the problem and I was on my way! It has been 2 months and I haven't had any issues with my tire. I drove 8 hours back to Philly, no problems. Plus many other trips since then. I am extremely grateful for his service. He allowed me to have a wonderful trip with only a small hiccup instead of a large problem. When no one else was to be found, HE WAS! Couldn't have been a more hospitable owner and service provider. I have family in Detroit who I visit around the holidays. I would not hesitate to return if I needed him again, or if my family had a problem.
