We had been researching a Ductless mini-split system for a while as it seemed to be the best option for our (almost) 100 yr. old Spanish Bungalow in West LA. Most everyone we spoke with recommended Mitsubishi - Through their website I was referred to Southland Heating & Air. Ray from Southland came by the next day to walk us through the process, offering advice and options we should consider. I received their quote later that day and was able to schedule our install for the following week. Their crew of 4 arrived on time and set to work on the install, covering the house interior with drop clothes to protect the furnishings. Two electricians arrived midway through the process to do the wiring hookup. Work was completed around 4:30 and the system was up and running that evening. As far as we were concerned Southland did a great job, on time, with no surprises or extra charges added on to their original quote - We couldn't have asked for much better service or anything else for that matter .
Honest evaluation of our heating and A/C needs. David Mercado offered many different solutions and affordable options to select from in our home. There was never any hard sell tactics used to sell or any pressure to buy now or the deal will be gone. In fact, we didn't close the deal for 3 months. Dave came out when it was convenient for us and spent enough time until all of our questions were answered in full. The day of the installation, the crew were clean and efficient. They were here until the job was completed and left with the jobsite clean removing all old equipment. I have to rate them 5 stars for price, quality of the product and installation. Product performance is exactly as it was promised. Very happy and would highly recommend their services.

Replacement of old furnace and installation of a new one. The guys were very professional and clean. They took care not to mark anything up and laid down cloth to protect the floor from the door to the worksite. Great experience
Thank you, Ray Alba, for your great customer service. You definitely showed me your concern for me as an individual, and your knowledge about installation of a new heater and thermostat. Alfred, and the two other guys, did a great job of installing the heater and thermostat in the morning. It only took them a few hours to get my old heater out, and to install the new one, which impressed me. I appreciate that Albert showed me how easy it is to use the thermostat. Now I have to reconsider for myself about getting air conditioning installed. I highly recommend Southland Heating & Air Conditioning!
