We had an excellent stay at the this hotel! The customer service at this place is just GREAT!! Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and polite throughout our entire stay. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and inviting. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely appointed. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in providing a great experience for their guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with outstanding customer service. We will definitely be back!
1st stay at the downtown Indy Intercontinental and it was exceptional. The check in service was first rate, the rooms were upscale and had many amenities. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They had two bars on site, the rooftop bar had nice views but was loud and crowded with a younger crowd, while the lobby bar was nice an quiet. The elevators are fast and easy to use. The location of the hotel is right downtown by the circle. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for three nights in a two-queen room through American Express Platinum’s Hotel Collection. While the building itself is older, the hotel has been recently renovated, and the interior felt clean and refreshed. One of the biggest strengths of this hotel was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. During my stay in mid-March, there was a blizzard, and the hotel provided umbrellas, which was a thoughtful touch. I also had breakfast and lunch at the hotel several times. The menu was not especially large, but the food was good. Breakfast was not buffet-style; instead, guests selected from menu options. The gym was another plus, with a good range of equipment, and I appreciated that bottled water was available there without limitation. On the downside, the hotel does not really offer a proper lobby lounge or common workspace for guests. I was in Indianapolis for a conference, and although there were a few small desks and sofas near the banquet area behind the breakfast restaurant, there was otherwise no real space for guests to meet or work outside their rooms. Soundproofing was also somewhat weak, so a noisy room next door could easily become an issue at night. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. Especially for those looking to take advantage of The Hotel Collection benefits, this hotel is a worthwhile option.

Everything is thoughtfully appointed — nothing feels like an afterthought. The food is equally impressive. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast or sitting down for a full dinner, the kitchen delivers consistently. Fresh ingredients, well-executed dishes, and a menu with enough variety to keep things interesting across multiple nights. If you’re visiting Indianapolis for business or leisure, the InterContinental is the clear choice. It raises the bar for what hospitality in this city can look like.
My son and I recently stayed at the magnificent InterContinental Indianapolis, and words truly cannot express how incredible our experience was. The personalized, elevated service began even before we set foot on the property. We were especially impressed by Mr. Quinton Oliver, Lead Concierge, who reached out prior to our arrival to ensure every detail of our stay would be seamless and memorable. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful lobby, Mr. Oliver was there to warmly welcome us with complimentary versions of our favorite drinks — a thoughtful touch he had noted in advance. The front desk staff was equally friendly and made our check-in smooth and effortless. Because Mr. Oliver knew we were celebrating my birthday, we were surprised with an upgrade to one of the hotel’s finest suites. Our eyes lit up as we walked through the stunning space — we could hardly contain our excitement. Waiting for us inside was a beautiful handwritten note from Mr. Oliver along with an assortment of our favorite beverages, which made the welcome even more special. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel’s onsite restaurant, where the staff was attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The state-of-the-art gym was another highlight and a huge plus for me. As a frequent traveler who often stays at luxury hotels, I can confidently say this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
