I needed my sewer pipe relined. Ed, Bryan, JT, and Cody did an awesome job. They were open to answering questions and welcomed us watching the process at every step of the way. Unfortunately, my access to the basement is in the middle of the house. They were exceptionally careful to cover my wood floors and the area around the sewer pipe so that there was no evidence they were here. They are knowledgeable and experienced in doing this work.
While replacing a water heater last minute is never a great experience, Steve W. was an absolute gem. He was the nicest and worked so hard to help me. I hope I get him back any time I have plumbing needs.
We had leaks and code violations from our clothes washer and dishwasher installs left over from Big Sandy Superstore as well as a leak caused by a 41 year old supply valve. Called Ben Franklin late Friday and got scheduled for service for Monday afternoon. Edward showed up on time and quickly assessed the issues and promptly executed the plan. Our appliances are now code compliant, not leaking, and using 1/4 turn ball values instead of gate valves (more reliable). Kudos to us for choosing Ben Franklin plumbing!

I cannot say enough good things about Steve. He came out to my rental property and went above and beyond from start to finish. He took the time to thoroughly explain the plumbing issue, walked me through the entire diagnostic process, and laid out multiple possibilities so I actually understood what was going on rather than just being handed a bill. What really stood out was that this was at the end of his day and he never once made me feel rushed. He was patient, knowledgeable, and came up with some genuinely great solutions. On top of all that, he was one of the friendliest people I have dealt with in the trades. If you need a plumber who treats your home like it matters and takes the time to do things right, Steve is your guy. Highly recommend.
Don't do it. This is a franchise which claims a Dayton address which is non-existent. Their HQ are in Medina, OHIO. When you call you talk to "Jenny", AI. Ask to talk to a person, you get forwarded to an answering service for another business. In March I had a plumbing emergency they resolved on a weekend. Thereafter, I had them repair irrigation valves in water meter pit and replace a backflow preventer device on irrigation system. They did not pull the required permit with Montgomery County Water and Environmental before doing the work, a legal requirement. Plumber installed a non-recommended backflow preventer incorrectly. This installer is supposed to be registered with Montgomery County as certified installer. When I tried to get in touch with the plumber who did the work they informed me he had disappeared and they did not know where he was and couldn't contact him (he had been manager of the outfit for 20 years). MCWES would not pass their work. I have written Franklin. I have talked to franchisor; they have not done anything. Talked to a person supposed to be the manager and they have just ignored me for 3 months. Paid them in full. They will not tell you cost of materials or labor. They have a 100% guarantee page and I have filed a complaint with no response. I would rate them based on my experience as deplorable.
