The atmosphere here is great very modern and contemporary. Service was high class as expected for what you are paying for. The food here was good but not the greatest for the price but the dessert here is delicious especially their gelato. They also have tons of wine selection and the one I was recommended was delicious. If you are looking for fancy date night coming here is a good choice if you like Italian food other than that I would look at other places.
Lovely restaurant with professional staff and delicious food. Very celiac friendly, they had plenty of gluten free options to choose from, including gluten free pasta. The lamb ragu was delicious and they had gluten free focacia. Scallops were delicious but the grapefruit didn't make sense in the dish. I did notice though that my gluten free pasta was a slightly smaller portion with less sauce than the same non-gf pasta dish. I would definitely return though (and I did!).

From the moment we walked in the restaurant the environment was wonderful. We had a reservation but ended up being stuck in traffic and was late, but Caitlin the hostess was amazing and sweet and was able to keep our reservation in the rotation. Caroline took us to our table and made sure we were taken care of, she was very friendly and sweet. Our server Ryan was awesome, fun to talk to, professional and knowledgeable about the menu. He offered great recommendations and tips on ordering. For drinks we tried were Tavernetta paloma, espresso martini, old fashioned and Late for the train. The drinks were well crafted and tasted fabulous. We tried the pasta flight, the focaccia bread, and calamari. The carbonara was my favorite pasta with the hint of yoke flavor that is missing in most carbonaras I've tried at other restaurants. The calamari was tender and I ky lightly breaded in an extremely delicate batter that flakes when you bite into it. For dessert we had their in house made tiramisu with a hint of sea salt which tasted like heaven and the affogato which was equally delicious. The only thing I would recommend is offering pistachio gelato as an option for the affogato. Service was excellent all the way through and was also quick as we were trying to get to the night's Avs game. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I definitely plan to return and try other different authentic dishes on the menu.
Tavernetta was worth the stop on our trip to Denver. Top notch service, clean table, filled waters, fresh silverware between courses. Friendly staff. Got the Focaccia, Burrata, Lamb Ragu and Lobster tagliatelle and Tiramisu. My Fiance and I enjoyed it all. Also the open kitchens are really cool. Bib gourmet for a reason.
Tavernetta is excellent all around. We made a reservation ahead of time using OpenTable. When we arrived, there were a few people waiting. Anyone without a reservation had to wait, but with ours we were seated immediately, which was appreciated. Walking in, you can see the cooks at work, the open kitchen, the meats being prepared, and the alcohol selection. It sets the tone right away and makes the experience feel intentional. The tables are spaced well, with enough room to feel comfortable and have a private conversation. There is a clear organization to how everything runs here. It is structured and deliberate, which I appreciated even though it is not what I am used to. Our waiter walked us through the menu, offered thoughtful suggestions, and let us take our time before ordering. We ended up with the Fritto Misto, Focaccia, Rigatoni, and Tagliatelle. The Fritto Misto was outstanding and easily the best part of the meal. The shrimp was excellent, and we also had lobster. The calamari was especially good, particularly with the sauce. The surprise standout was the fried lemon slices. They were perfectly done and added something unique to the dish. The Focaccia was soft on the inside and crispy around the edges. The accompanying sauce had a light lemon flavor that paired really well with the bread. I really enjoyed the Rigatoni. The lamb flavor was spot on and satisfying. It felt like a full entree in terms of richness, just served in a more restrained portion. For dessert, our waiter suggested the Semifreddo. From the first bite, it brought back a childhood memory of biscuits and chocolate frozen into ice cream. The flavor leaned more toward something like Biscoff, and it was an excellent way to end the meal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The flavors, service, and atmosphere made it memorable, and it is a place we would absolutely return to.
