Great views from the 6th floor and kids welcomed to the bar, which was a grownup treat for my little one. Food was better than bar grade, pretty tasty, and the oysters were fresh. Doubled eggs were amazing. The staff are the best, from host through server. Johnathan, our bar tender on 6th floor, was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say. Overall, if ya looking for a casual place close to but far from the Broadway action, than this is the place. Reservations probably not needed but honestly, this was one of my favorite places that I'll visit again. We'll done.
I had a good experience at The Diner Nashville during a visit downtown. The menu had plenty of options, and the food came out fresh and tasted great. The staff were friendly, and even though it was busy, the service was efficient. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, making it an easy place to enjoy a meal. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Nashville.

Just had lunch at The Diner, & overall, it was a good time! The food was really great, especially the Oysters Rockefeller, so tasty! One cool thing about The Diner is that it has six floors, each with a different theme, which adds a fun vibe to the place. It used to be open 24/7, but now the hours have changed. They’re currently open Sunday–Thursday from 7:30 am to 11 pm and Friday–Saturday from 7:30 am to 2 am. The service could've been better this time. Our bartender seemed really busy and a bit frustrated, almost like they were understaffed. She mentioned they didn’t have melted butter available, which was surprising since I had it the day before. I’ve had amazing service there before, so I’d definitely return. Just hoping for a smoother experience next time but the oysters are worth it!
So good we went twice. Popped in for brunch one day, ended up going back for lunch the next day. Great location, amazing service, delicious food and from the top floor an amazing view of downtown Nashville. Highly recommended
A milkshake with a little shot of something will make a rough morning after a hard night better, I promise! Also the food is great. They have six floors of seating. Don't forget to take home dessert for Mom
