I am a realtor and Franciscus Roofing Al Hobar has conducted many Roofing inspections for my clients. He is very informative, honest and has reasonable pricing if repairs/replacements need to be done. All of my clients have been pleased with their services.
Eric provided a great overview of the project when going over the details of the install day and what would be included. Christian and his father were a pleasure to work with on the day of the install. They provided experience and a breakdown of everything they completed. John McClain was an excellent project manager and kept me in the loop for everything that was going to happen leading up to install and afterwards.
My husband and I had a nice experience with Franciscus with our leaky roof. They were highly recommended from 2 of my coworkers so I decided to give them a try. We had the pleasure of meeting Albert when he came out to check our roof issue. He went up on the roof and took pictures of the area that needed attention. He was able to seal the problem area and done! We were worried that we would need a whole new roof. I feel the company is honest and has high integrity. He could have insisted we needed a new roof and what would we know? You want to believe the company you call out but not all are honest. We recently had issues with a dishonest contractor who is now on the run. Albert will be back to place heating coils on the area of the roof that is prone to ice dams. We are very happy with Franciscus!

We had our roof replaced by Franciscus Roofing in November 2025, contracting them proactively as to prevent damage to our home and wear/tear on our shingles (15 +/- years old). No water damage had been in our home, with the exception of our garage with minor damage from poor drainage. After roof replacement, we started seeing visible signs of water entering our home (ceiling pictured here in living room) as a result of the new roof replacement and their tech advising the shingle nail had come up/popped from their job. First contacted prior to December 16, 2025 and issue is still not resolved with water still entering our property (now 1/13/2026). Multiple techs have been onsite and attempted to remediate. I've contacted the office multiple times and been incredibly nice with each tech/office worker; however, attempted to escalate recently and was told again to wait another few business days (it's also winter with snow/rain coming in our home). I asked for someone in management to be contacted/status update and they've advised it will be additional business days. Moreover, the last tech communicated that "water actually makes drywall stronger" and once it's all clear that I can paint it and it should be fine... Are you kidding me? I do not ever write Google Reviews, but have given Franciscus a month to remediate this water coming in our home; however, they have shown very little sense of urgency, care and even an attempt to apologize. I decided to use Franciscus based on a trusted referral; however, numerous people were at our home over the holidays and saw the visible (still there) water damage and couldn't believe how the situation had been handled. This could have been remediated in 1, half day appointment: fix the hole, repair the roof/paint. Now there is likely 30 days of water damage and potential for mold in our roof as well, that wasn't there before and was the entire reason for us contracting to have our roof replaced in the first place. I am deeply sorry for writing such a negative review for a local business; however, I have made every attempt to leave voicemails, call, email, etc. to the offices of Franciscus and they have shown zero sense of empathy or ownership of the situation. Would never recommend and waiting remediation. Update: second area leaking and even worse. This is the worst company I’ve ever worked with.
We have a house in Parma. My experience with roof replacement from Franciscus was great! Paul Schultz was the main contact, and he evaluated our roof and gave reasonable options for replacement. He answered all questions and was very available and responsive. The team who did the roof replacement were timely, competent and respectful. I would highly recommend the team at Franciscus Roofing!
