Brought my car in last second after a spring broke on my car. Sunny got me in the same day and had my car fixed the next day. It's driving way better now! He also helped me out with picking up my car after hours. He even called to verify that I did in fact pick up my car. Great shop with excellent service! I will return if I ever need car repairs moving forward!
I cannot recommend Sunny and his team enough! I have been coming here for years and they take amazing care of me. As a female I am always weary getting taken advantage of my car shops. They are beyond fair, and the most trustworthy car shop in Indianapolis.
Called 3 Auto Repair Shops with great Google reviews, as I am new to Indianapolis. Needed a coolant drain and fill or flush, anf oil change for my Lexus. One shop quoted me right away and answered all my questions. The other shop called me back with a price within an hour. Only American Auto Repair never call me back with an estimate- I spoke to a guy and gave him all my car information and phone number. I was told someone will call me back. Will, 3 days later... This is not good business practice. Not impressed at all. Definitely won't trust you with my car. Will take my business somewhere else.

My power steering pump stopped working, so I had my vehicle towed to the shop. Sunny quickly diagnosed the issue and patiently explained what was wrong with the car. He clearly outlined the required repairs, and the team kept the vehicle for a day to thoroughly test and ensure everything was fixed properly. I’m very happy with the service and professionalism. I had a great experience at American Auto Repair. The team is professional, welcoming, and most importantly very affordable. It’s hard to find a place you can trust, but the staff were very honest,communicative and kind. My truck is my lifeline and they got it up and running in no time! I highly recommend taking your vehicles to them.
