Called to get a quote for repairs I already knew were worth over $1,000, since I'd already paid another shop a diagnostic fee. The woman I spoke with refused to give any quote over the phone, even a rough estimate. I understand not wanting to commit to an exact number sight-unseen, but a general ballpark isn't unreasonable to ask for before scheduling, especially when I was just trying to compare pricing after already paying for a diagnosis elsewhere. On top of that, she was flat-out rude about it. Between the lack of transparency and the poor customer service on the phone, I took my business elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend if you want a shop that treats potential customers with basic respect
I brought my car to diagnose and hopefully fix suspension and transmission issues. Not only did the auto tech NOT diagnose the issue (other than to say there were some "issues" and the transmission fluid looked burnt), but he also got irate when I asked what was wrong with the transmission and suspension because he hadn't provided a full diagnosis. He got visibly irritated and said it didnt matter what was wrong because the car is old and it isn't worth fixing. And I still had to pay! This behavior is unprofessional. I brought the car for a diagnosis... the least they can do is explain the problem. I already knew there was something wrong with the car... that's why I brought it in for diagnosis in the first place. It is the principle of the matter. Yes I know the car is old but for heaven's sake why would I bring my car and pay for a diagnosis only to be told yeah there's something wrong with it and it isnt worth fixing. The absolute irony is I brought the car to a different auto shop and they fixed the transmission and suspension in a day without any problems.

5 stars for fast service and friendly mechanic. Dropped my vehicle off early morning to get diagnosed. Got a call less than 30 minutes later telling me what the issue was, they had the part, and they can get to it done the same day. By early afternoon the repair was done and I got my vehicle back. I really appreciated not being without a car for more than a day!
Had throttle body replaced 5,000 miles ago. It failed. Took vehicle to dealer who reported the throttle body installed by Hillsboro Auto Repair was of very low quality. I paid over $1200 for shabby repair work. Now I have to pay the same to someone hopefully more competent and scrupulous. Caveat emptor.
