I don’t often feel compelled to write reviews, but my experience with this company absolutely deserved one. After my air conditioner stopped working, I initially had another HVAC company come out. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat and recommended replacing it. Although I had no reason to believe that diagnosis was incorrect, something about the experience didn’t sit right with me. I felt rushed and sold to as opposed to helped. So I decided to keep my appointment with this company for a second opinion. I’m incredibly glad I did. Kelly was thorough, methodical, and professional from the moment he arrived. Rather than jumping to conclusions, he carefully worked through the system, tested the components, and identified the actual problem—a failing condensate pump that was intermittently triggering the safety switch. He took the time to explain exactly what was happening, showed me the issue, and answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. The repair was completed professionally, and I left feeling confident that the problem had truly been diagnosed correctly. I also want to recognize Lisa and Chrissy in the office. Both were exceptionally professional, courteous, and responsive throughout the scheduling process. They provided outstanding customer service and made the entire experience easy from my very first phone call. From start to finish, this company demonstrated the kind of ethical professionalism, technical expertise, and customer care that is becoming harder to find. I was on the fence about keeping my appointment after the first company’s diagnosis, but I’m so glad I did. It saved me from replacing the wrong part, and I now have confidence that the underlying issue has actually been resolved. Best of all, my air conditioner has been running perfectly since the repair. Kelly, Lisa, and Chrissy all represented the company exceptionally well. Based on this experience, I won’t hesitate to call them again for future HVAC needs. Highly recommended.

The entire installation crew was excellent. They worked diligently and effectively, maintained a clean working space during and after installation. Kyle and Junior are effective communicators and keep me in the loop as installation progressed. I am very pleased with my heat pump and new furnace. I would highly recommend Ultimate.
Working with Ultimate was awesome in every aspect from communication to installation to the friendliness of the guys, and the help from the office, and the follow up service. It was a great experience and I most definitely recommend them! And my new energy efficient AC unit works great! Thank you Ultimate.
We recently used Ultimate Heating and Cooling for a new HVAC upgrade with a heat pump. The installation itself went smoothly and we initially had no complaints. The total project value was around $13,000, with part of that covered through Colorado rebates, leaving us paying around $5,000 out of pocket. However, when we finally needed heat during the recent snow, the system would not switch over to the alternate heat source (gas furnace), meaning we had no heating at all. To their credit, they responded quickly and sent a technician out the same morning. The technician diagnosed a failed furnace motherboard and quoted us $930 in labor plus a $69 call-out fee, despite the part itself being under warranty. We agreed because we needed heat, but nearly $1,000 for less than three hours of work felt extremely excessive. What concerns me most is that this issue appeared just two weeks after the HVAC installation. I specifically asked why the furnace functionality had not been fully checked during the install process, but I did not receive a convincing explanation. Before posting this review, I did contact the company to express how shocked I was by the cost. To be fair, a supervisor did call me back. Unfortunately, the conversation mainly consisted of him explaining why he believed the pricing was justified and quoting “national averages.” The tone came across as fairly dismissive and condescending rather than solution-focused. In the end, we simply agreed to disagree, and no effort was made to help given the circumstances and the amount we had just spent with the company weeks earlier. The fast response time is the only reason this is not an even harsher review. But overall, the pricing, lack of accountability, and unwillingness to stand behind a very recent installation left a really bad taste. I would think twice before using them again.
Extremely disappointing experience, absolutely avoid!!! If you want to be completely disrespected as a woman, spoken to in a deeply condescending manner, and treated as if you couldn’t possibly understand basic technical issues, then this is the company for you. They charged us for an inspection that was clearly not done properly, pushed us to replace perfectly functional parts at nearly 10 times the market price, and literally laughed in my face while telling me my HVAC system was “shitty” and needed to be replaced. Three days later, the system had another issue because they completely failed to identify the actual problem. We were then pushed yet again toward more interventions and more part replacements by a manager who had never even seen the HVAC system himself and could only give vague explanations about what the issue “could” be. When I later requested my file, pictures, and full documentation from the visit, nothing was ever sent. No transparency whatsoever. We finally contacted another amazing company ALTITUD BRO HVAC— which I strongly recommend — and unlike UHCPC, they actually inspected everything properly. They identified the issue immediately and charged us only $400 for something that probably would have cost us over $2,000 with UHCPC. What a joke. And the funniest part? They’re apparently just as bad with plumbing. We worked with them in the past on another property and, after charging us over $20,000, not only were they unable to properly fix the issues, but they also damaged one of our showers. Matt Robledo, the owner, even told us he had to fire his plumber Dave because “he was not good” and promised us compensation or future repair credits. Of course, none of that ever happened. Once they take your money, they seem to forget your name very quickly.
