Checked in for a five day business trip, gave them my tax exempt form. They said the manager had to put it in. Went to check out at 5:30 am five days later, checking out early as the ceiling in my bathroom was pouring water and I couldn’t even use the restroom without a towel to cover your head. Told the guy at the desk and wrote the leak on a piece of paper that was a LONG list of maintenance issues reported I have to assume. And found out they never entered the tax exemption of course. The guy at the desk was absolutely like this is not my problem. Come back at 7:30, came back at 7:30 and no manager to be found. Now I’m sitting in the lobby waiting for the manager. While the rude guy at the desk rolls his eyes at me waiting. Among the other issues, I told them I did not need housekeeping but just needed trash bags and the guy at the desk told me if I don’t need housekeeping I can’t have trash bags. So I had to buy my own. No coursing so I couldn’t put one on the door for housekeeping- they would randomly come in my room while I was on anyway and take the trash. From my purchased trash bags.
I dont even know where to start. I have not had a hotel visit this bad in a long time, and for the staff to just totally disregard the issues is what lead me to write this review. Where can I begin. First of all all of the common areas (hall ways, lounge, bar, ect) had no heat. The entire hotel was freezing cold. Then the water in the shower was the same way. Freezing cold and took a long time to heat up. I booked a walk out shower room for my elderly father and the room did not have a walk out shower. The room had countless issues and violations. First it was clearly not cleaned at all. Hair all over, stepped on an earing that was on the floor, broken and stained furniture. The front door had holes in it and was not self closing (fire and ADA violation) the large mirror in the room was just leaning on the wall and not mounted. Now to get onto some of the bigger issues. Other guests. A couple rooms down guests were having a large birthday party with tons of people. Maybe about 20 people in one room. The kids kept running up and down the hall going to the elevators to go to the pool. This made the floors soaking wet with water from the pool. Even the elevator had massive puddles on the floor. Make it worse the people were loud and kept running up and down the hall late into the night. The same people from the group had people just hanging out in the hall, and standing directly at the front door smoking weed, and maybe even in their room because the whole hall started to smell so strong of weed. Front desk was notified and nothing was done about it. Got little to no sleep that night. Woke up the next morning and went downstairs to find out they dont do breakfast anymore despite photos of it on the website and it says it! SO THERE IS NO BREAKFAST DESPITE ADVERTISED. I dont know who is running this place but they clearly dont care. Dont stay here.

We stayed there many years ago and had a great experience so we didn't hesitate to return. It looked like it's been worn over time, like most hotels. It seems like they were doing renovations. Modern sundry shop, reasonable price breakfast, nice bar area (friendly bar staff), and well maintained fitness room. Minor issues with our room at check in and they quickly offered another room without issue. Appreciated their responsiveness. Will consider staying again.
I booked with a wedding group who had arranged to have a block of rooms. However, we had guests on the second, third, and fourth floor. Half of the guests who had called specifically to book in the block weren’t remotely near each other. My room wasn’t the cleanest. The photos included are just from my room. The light on my bedside table had a dead light bulb. My room’s cabinet was being clamped together. There was considerable dust on top of the headboard. The bride’s suite didn’t have a locking bathroom door. Other guests had sent pictures of stained furniture in their rooms. The hotel assured our group that they could accommodate a group coming in after 11. The bar did stay open, however, the group ran into different issues including bits of cork in wine, a bug in a drink, and slow service for just one drink. The gentleman helping us checkout in the morning was friendly. The lobby and bride’s suite were well designed and pretty. But those were about the only aspects of the hotel to have lived up to our hopes.
Although we only planned to stay a few days, we spent our whole week at this facility. The concierge staff was so accommodating and responsive, the room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. The town of Green now has two-lane round-abouts, and the hotel was directly off one of these. Tricky at first yet very convenient once we mastered which lane and where to cross over for exiting to the hotel. They offer a hot breakfast buffet with standard fare and found great dining within a short drive with fast-food and common shopping stores (Target, Wal-Mart, etc.) just a mile away for those forgot-to-pack items. A nice, clean fitness center is available adjacent to the pool. Since the hot tub was of equal warmth to the pool, I might deduct for 1/2 of a star, and our room faced a highway which was occasionally apparent. Yet with site renovations under way, we will definitely stay here again.
