While my doctor listens attentively and spends time with me, the subsequent communication through One Medical is quite disappointing. They are non-responsive in their messaging system and there’s little concern for resolving issues. There’s also a lack of bias for action or taking ownership for their problems. This falls short of customer service standards, especially for a medical provider, let alone an Amazon company. If you only need an annual physical it works, if you need more, I would advise against using One Medical.
This office is so great. The front desk folks are friendly and helpful. Doctor Cara is terrific. Getting vaccines/shots is quick and easy. And the office space is beautiful and relaxing. It's also SO EASY to schedule appointments—in the office or virtual if you need to. I'm lucky that my work pays for a One Medical membership, but even if I change jobs I'll definitely buy a membership. It's so helpful to be able to schedule so easily and quickly -- especially with kids, when there's often something new suddenly. Thanks to Cara and the front desk folks!

I'm surprised to be writing this, but I have really come to LOVE One Medical. After my insurance changed to Cigna last year, I had the hardest time finding a PCP anywhere that was accepting new patients. I finally decided I'd try One Medical after my brother had had a successful experience here, and I have to say, I really couldn't be happier. This is the first time in a long time that I've actually felt cared for by my PCP. I've had several appointments with Cara Gilbert-Au so far and she's been thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She's also been responsive messaging me with results and follow ups, and even went out of her way to call me once to discuss a particular concern. On another occasion, a different, knowledgeable provider called me after hours to make sure I got test results back quickly. It is also SO EASY to find and book appointments same week (as opposed to like... months out at hospitals?) and I really love that they can do testing on site, as opposed to me having to make another trip to Labcorp. Staff is friendly, and the environment is lovely. All in all, I'm just really grateful to have found One Medical as part of my care team.
Extremely unhappy with the recent experience at Ballard location. Miscommunication between doctor and the nurse caused delayed lab results and I had to visit thrice.It was a rather urgent thing. Never visiting one medical again.
I’ve been going to One Medical Ballard for almost 4 years now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience, even after their Amazon acquisition. The whole clinic is beautiful and calming, and the front desk staff are always kind and courteous in my experience. But it’s Dr. Siegfried that keeps me coming back. The level of care, attention, and sympathy that she provides to her patients is top-notch. Despite an undoubtedly high volume of patients (which I realize is unavoidable these days), she prepares for each visit as much as she can, listens carefully, takes detailed and easy-to-understand notes, and genuinely makes me feel cared for and heard. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care provider — and hope she never leaves!
