Such a nice zoo! I highly recommend buying tickets and parking online ahead of time as there are small price differences based on times. I also highly recommend downloading the zoo app as it has an interactive map and sends love notifications about what is going on around the zoo. The map was nice because without it we would have missed a few things as they were tucked away off a main path, but overall things are very easy to access and see. It took us, two adults, about 4 hours to see pretty much the whole zoo, there were somethings not on exhibit and we skipped a few of the building exhibits. Truly enjoyed it, can't wait to come back!
This was our first visit to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, and we were so impressed! The zoo is huge, beautifully maintained, and full of amazing animals and gorgeous gardens. The exhibits are well designed, and it’s easy to spend an entire day exploring. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean and well organized. Whether you’re visiting with kids or just enjoy nature and wildlife, this is a must-see attraction. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing experience. Had access to most of the animals in the zoo to see them. All of the employees there are very informative and helpful. If theres anything to say is people with disabilities should rent an electric scooter or come with a wheelchair. The zoo itself isn't on level ground and it can be quite the painful workout if you dont plan properly. Overall, 10 out of 10. I'll come back better prepared and do it all over again.
Nice Zoo! My 15yr old and I enjoyed our visit. We really got our steps in!! The weather was warm but not Louisiana hot so we were able to take it! We ride the train, which was a short ride. We ate a meal at one of the onsite eateries and enjoyed a pretzel and slushy from one of the carts. There were plenty of animal exhibits and the zoo was clean and well kept. Paid parking was close by. I’d definitely recommend visiting. Good for Adults and children.
Excellent experience at the Zoo with my wife and 2.5 yr old son (he loved it)!! We got to see almost all the animals although it’s probably best if you show up earlier in the day to see them energetic. Seeing the elephants and giraffes were most exciting. The safari train is not a must-do activity but for $5 pp at the gate - it’s worth the smiles and excitement of a toddler! Gift shop was not outrageously priced but could be better; selection was pretty good.
