I purchased 2 complete systems in 2024. All services provided have been outstanding as well as all the technical personnel who performed the work. I did purchase a maintenance plan and have experienced two catastrophic failures in one of the systems however the repairs were completed in what I feel was a reasonable timeframe considering the parts were not a very common failure. I would highly recommend Coolray to anyone considering the services provided.
I would highly recommend Coolray! Josh was great and matched a quote to get me what I needed at the best price! I truly appreciate the work they did installing a new 4 ton HVAC system (air handler and heat pump).
Coolray did an excellent job installing a mini split system in my garage. The crew was professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. The installation was completed quickly without feeling rushed, and everything was left clean before they left. Most importantly, the unit is working perfectly and has made a huge difference in the comfort of the space. I’m very happy with the quality of the work and would absolutely recommend the for any HVAC work.

Over the decades I've lived in Atlanta, I've worked with just about every type of HVAC company imaginable—from the big ones to small family-owned businesses. Like many homeowners, I ended up replacing parts of my system piece by piece over the years. Every couple of years it seemed like there was another refrigerant leak, another electrical issue, or another unexpected repair. Sometimes the warranty covered it, sometimes it didn't. More than anything, it left me constantly wondering, "Will this be the summer it breaks down again?" What I was really looking for wasn't just a new air conditioner—it was trust and peace of mind. From my very first interaction with Coolray, I finally felt like I was in good hands. I hadn't planned on replacing my entire HVAC system this year, as my outdoor unit was only 4 years old, but they took the time to explain exactly what was going on (evaporator coil prematurely rusting and worn out), answered every question patiently, and never made me feel pressured. Once I understood the situation (industry transitioning from R-410A to R-454B refrigerant), replacing the system simply made sense. One thing that really stood out to me was the quality of the installation itself. In my experience with previous HVAC companies, the goal often seemed to be installing the minimum needed to get the system running. Coolray took a completely different approach. They upgraded the outdoor electrical components, installed multiple safety sensors to help prevent water damage if an issue ever develops, and paid attention to countless little details that most homeowners would probably never notice. That level of thoroughness and pride in their work was unlike anything I'd experienced before, and I genuinely appreciated it. I'm genuinely glad I made that decision. My home has never cooled this well. The installation was meticulous, the craftsmanship was outstanding, and the system runs better than any I've owned. But what I appreciate most is the confidence I now have. I already planned to keep up with annual maintenance, so knowing that if something does go wrong it's completely covered gives me a level of peace of mind I've honestly never had with an HVAC system before. Looking back, I only wish I had done this years earlier. Better late than never. If you're tired of wondering what expensive surprise your HVAC system has waiting for you next, I can honestly say that working with Coolray has been one of the best home improvement decisions I've made in a long time. Given the Atlanta summers - just so glad. Big exhale- thanks Coolray.
Purchased a HVAC system from them around 2020, due to supply issues from covid, my unit was upgraded to a premium 5 stage unit at no extra cost so I didn't have to wait for the unit that I purchased. Started to notice in the years that followed that the unit wasn't cooling as intended when it got really hot, coolray provides a lifetime warranty and they came out a couple times to check the issue and told me they couldn't really find anything. On their recommendation I hired a company to clean the ducts which didn't help. Fast forward to now, and its been really hot and the unit was struggling to keep the house below 80 and I called coolray out again to check it. The tech was new and had a feeling he knew what the issue was but wanted a supervisor to verify. The supervisor came out and found that the thermostat wasn't wired correctly and also that it was an insufficient for the upgraded system. The thermostat installed(ecobee) couldn't utilize the full 5 stages of the unit to cool the house properly. The tech wired the thermostat to at least utilized another stage keep the house cool. (Whatever he did worked). I contacted coolray to let them know that i was never notified when they upgraded my system that the thermostat needed to be upgraded with it. I reached out to customer relations and they didn't want to honor their mistake and called the thermostat an upgrade that i had to pay for. I spoke to another customer service agent and she was dealing with me directly and asked if she can get a quote at a discounted price and I entertained it to see what the amount would be. I haven't heard back from them since. I left messages and was told someone would call back. It's almost a month now since i got a response. Today they had the nerve to call me and ask to renew my maintenance membership without even fixing the prior issue first.
