From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their kindness and genuine hospitality. The resort’s atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, creating the perfect setting to unwind. Our kids had a blast in the pool and lazy river, and seeing them enjoy themselves made the trip even better. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.
This was our first time staying at the Westin Kierland Resort, and it definitely won't be our last! My husband, our two granddaughters, and I enjoyed a one-night stay, and it was the perfect little getaway. The location is fantastic, with great shopping and restaurants nearby, yet the resort is tucked away enough that it feels peaceful and relaxing rather than overwhelming. Our room was spacious, the Heavenly Beds lived up to their name, and every staff member we encountered provided impeccable service. We rented a cabana for the day, which made our pool experience even better. My granddaughters absolutely loved the FlowRider, and it was the highlight of their trip! The lazy river was so much fun and large enough that it never felt overcrowded, and the main pool was beautiful and perfect for spending the day relaxing. Thank you to everyone at the Westin Kierland Resort for taking such wonderful care of our family. We made some great memories and are already looking forward to coming back!

I recently stayed at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa for a conference and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and extremely well run. The conference and meeting spaces were excellent and worked perfectly for our group. The staff did a great job with all of our meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was well organized and very well prepared. The entire conference was smooth and enjoyable from beginning to end. Overall, this is a first class resort with a first class conference center. A really good experience all around.
Had a fabulous time at Westin Kierland Scottsdale last weekend. It was a great getaway. The location and amenities were the best! We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet also. Everyone was so accommodating. We had a few hiccups but manager, Mario was beyond helpful and understanding. Made the end of our stay a plus. Can't wait to visit again.
Staycation – July 2026 Wow... what a disappointment. We've stayed here before, but this experience was completely different. The hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovations, and it feels like they're using the summer travel season to help fund the construction while still charging premium rates. The biggest issue is that none of this is clearly disclosed during the booking process. Had we known how much of the resort would be unavailable, we would have chosen to stay somewhere else. Almost everything was closed. There was no real lobby experience, food and beverage options were extremely limited, and many of the amenities you expect from a resort simply weren't available. It didn't feel like the full resort experience we paid for. The pool area was just as disappointing. Pool service was poor, and the lazy river barely had any tubes available. Guests were actually bringing their own inflatables because the resort couldn't provide enough for everyone. For a resort that promotes its pools as a major attraction, this was unacceptable. The entire property felt like it was operating at a fraction of what it normally offers, yet there was no reduced pricing or transparency to match. It's frustrating to spend this kind of money only to arrive and realize you're staying in what feels like an active construction zone. It's amazing how much this resort has gone downhill in just one summer. Unless renovations are complete and the full guest experience is restored, I would not recommend staying here. Sadly, this trip has me seriously questioning whether we'll ever return.
