Dylan Statler handled not only my disability claim but also my son's, he is amazing & very on top of his clients needs & worries. My son is extremely ill and needed help, Dylan was the first person I reached out to for assistance because I knew from my own experience that he would do everything he could to get my son's denied claim approved. I recommend anyone who needs help with their disability claim to contact him. He is amazing !!
I have a head trauma in 1995 and as I aged I had a hard time keeping thoughts together and organizational skills among other things. I worked at MetroHealth for 25 years and they let me go due to some of the problems I was having. I was looking for an attorney that understood OPERS, which is not the easiest to find. Google pointed me to Scott. Scott was a short distance from me, great reviews/ratings and this was done on a contigency basis. I had been off work for about a year and needed that disability income for backpay and future icome since I could no longer perform my job well. I worked with Hannah and did everything she asked me to do as far as disability application, medical records and doctors reports. She was very easy to work with. I just received my disability and backpay. I am so thankful this is the attorney I chose. This would have been more than I could deal with alone and they were great to work with. Scott and Hannah did outstanding work for me and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Hi, combat veteran Iraq, Afghanistan’s, Africa, and OPERS recipient here. Due to a disagreement with OPERS not to except the VA’s treatment plan my earned and paid for benefits were discontinued. I search/called many law firms which due to this need for a pin point strike OPERS law experienced lawyer.x I was turned away with no direction . A stroke of luck pointing me towards Scott Kolligian. We had little time until the founding was set in stone. Talked to Hannah, (very nice and direct on needs) started the ball rolling. Talked to Scott, he immediate went into action given the time crunch he started , contacting the VA, doctors, nurses, and of course updating me along the way. Shortly After he sent the rounds down range, OPERS reinstated my benefits. Couldn’t be more thankful for him and his team. Scott’s been doing this for 20 years or more. Very very few lawyers have this specific skill set, experience, and follow through to accomplish this given the time constraints. Thank you Scott and your team SEMPER FIDELIS
In 2025, I had a difficult decision to make regarding my health. A chronic illness had out of the blue ravaged my body, leaving me unable to function at my career in any capacity , one which was exceedingly difficult and painful, add extremely hard to initially find the correct treatment with very little let up from a host of numerous life threatening symptoms . With a mere 7-8 years left before being eligible for Medicare. With my income depleted to nothing, my savings rapidly being depleted by bills and a COBRA payment which was more than a luxury SUV payment monthly I needed to make a claim for SSDI. I began looking for a firm that could help. My careful reading of the reviews of different firms over a week of deciding led me back to Scott’s firm. Clients of this firm brought up points which I gravitated to. Never needing a firm for the nature of my situation before I was bewildered and I’ll add, in a lot of physical turmoil pain and real fear of the future at hand. The reviews of this firm stood out as caring-attention to detail-personalized individual attention with a superior listening ability of one’s legal scope regarding their conditions. I met with Scott at his office the 1st of July of 25’. While I was critically sick during this appointment and almost canceled, his explanation of his firms’ services, his attention and note taking, true empathy- made this meeting an eye opening experience in where my fears were calmed. I gladly accepted and signed all needed documentation that day, and with every consequent email , phone call with members of his legal team, my mind was put at ease - in a position in where I was able to focus on my health with my team of doctors while they continued to search for a treatment to put this very difficult disease into control. Having filed for SSDI and SSI- I was able to get long term disability insurance through my past employer. Although I had exhausted all FMLA, I was eligible for this insurance. Mr Kolligian and his expert firm’s services were able to provide very pertinent legal guidance regarding my SSDI claims along with the long term disability insurance. These were matters which frankly, in layman’s terms were heavy upon me and way out my league legally in handling on my own. I literally was doing all I could just to focus on my health of which I had not experienced the worst of yet. The road ahead medically was about to become far more grave. As a patient suffering from severe ulcerative colitis there are numerous life threatening complications that go along with it if not controlled. I suffered anemia which could had killed me. Also deep vein thrombosis which also came close to ending my life. It wasn’t until November 25’ where I was put on a biologic which finally began to lift all the symptoms. Now at present, thanks to the work of my doctors I am now under control of the UC. Although it’s a lifetime of treatment, I am now feeling today the best I’ve felt in over 2 years. Consequently my claims at SSDI, Scott and I both agreed to not file for an appeal! Also, the long term disability company I was able to drop, because of being gainfully employed once again. This isn’t something most patients of UC get to experience in under 2-3 years of being diagnosed. I am super fortunate. I cannot emphasize how important that integrity, personal empathy of your condition and situation are when choosing a law firm on matters of dire circumstances. As Scott’s client, and as a patient suffering- we both know my case is not the norm as far as my successful healthy outcome. Even though Scott’s professional services did not benefit from a payout as I was anticipating due to not being able to work again via winning an appeal for SSDI, It has been a privilege to have chose to work with a firm that put my well being and positive outcome in first place. I’d recommend him to all. And will not need to look further ever again for legal counsel within the scope of this firm.
Dylan got me approved for disability. He was professional and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. In my hearing he was able to convey, my difficult case, to the judge. And that made all the difference.
