From the moment we arrived, the experience at Venice V Hotel exceeded our expectations. The lobby immediately impressed us with its beautiful blend of historic charm and modern design — stylish, warm, and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were able to store our luggage, and thanks to our wonderful advisor, we were granted a complimentary early check-in, which made our arrival seamless and stress-free. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine as a welcome gesture — a thoughtful and generous touch. The room itself was perfect: impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The amenities were excellent and of high quality, with a refrigerator and coffee available in the room, as well as coffee conveniently offered in the lobby. The hotel’s oceanfront view is simply outstanding — truly one of the best. Additionally, the penthouse (PH) offers a beautiful, relaxed space to sit, talk, and share moments while enjoying the surroundings. Finally, the location is unbeatable: directly across from the beach and just steps away from the iconic Venice canals. Everything about this stay felt carefully curated to provide comfort, style, and an exceptional guest experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Venice V Hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Venice Beach.
A jem in the heart of Venice! Soon as you step in your surround by classic architecture matched with modern art that brings the aesthetic of Venice to life. We used the valet service located right behind the hotel... Easy, and safe worth it! The staff was lovely, everyone was super kind and helpful... The have so many amenities to share with guests. Free bikes, skateboards, beach umbrellas, towels, ear plugs... And so much more. We stayed in a king suite that had a sitting room with a pull out couch (great for our toddler) with a separate king room in the back. We had a beautiful view of the beach and our son loved watching the waves and bike path. The beds were super comfortable, the double head shower had great pressure. The room had a mini fridge with free water and coffee plus other snacks and drinks for purchase. The location was stellar! Right downstairs was the local favorite coffee shop, Groundworks, along with a juice shop, smash burgers, pasta and so much more... That was right out the door! The skatepark, and huge playground was just a quick walk down the boardwalk or walk up the street to the iconic Venice sign. My family had a great time and would definitely come back and stay with them again.

e had an amazing stay at Venice V Hotel in Venice Beach, CA. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations—the location was perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe of the hotel really captured the spirit of Venice Beach. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. After we checked out, we realized we had accidentally left a hat behind in our room. We contacted the hotel, and their team was incredibly helpful and responsive. They quickly located the item and arranged to have it returned to us right away, making the entire process stress-free. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about their guests and go the extra mile to ensure a great experience, even after your stay has ended. We really appreciated the attention to detail and kindness. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
I stayed here in June 2025. The location is great - walkable to delicious restaurants in Venice and along the beach. If venturing out farther, the valet/parking was extremely convenient. We didn’t spend much time in the room, but it was nicely decorated. Our room had a great view of the ocean and we did enjoy an amazing sunset. I would definitely stay here again!
Hotel itself was very impressive, both the building and location. HOWEVER, management is incredibly rude, dare I say, awful! After our altercation, I had to dig to discover managers name, "Tess" because even the personnel was too scared to give it to me. I have 2 upcoming trips back to California and planned to stay here, but if current management is still in place I will not be coming back. So disappointed.
