Located in a beautiful neighborhood, this hostel exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm and it felt very spacious/inviting. The staff were very accommodating and gave me a mini tour after I mentioned that I had not stayed there before. The hostel itself is family owned and run very well. The staff truly reflect how special and welcoming of a place it is! It has history, stories, events and a whole lot of charm. Can't wait to go back!
I LOVED my stay here. This was my first experience staying in a hostel, and it really made me feel comfortable and safe. They have full storage for your bags if you arrive before checking in or have larger items with you. There are so many activities to do and things that are hosted right on site. The cafe was great! I was so excited to be able to do laundry too!

Great place to stay! Affordable and had everything I needed. I did a private room with a shared bathroom, which was clean and well-stocked. Front desk was very friendly and helpful for anything I needed. Attached café was wonderful. Such a convenient location!
I had a great time staying at this hostel. The staff were very friendly and gave me a map with recommendations for places to visit, which made exploring the city much easier. Thanks to their suggestions, I visited Washington Park, Powell’s City of Books, and most famous doughnut place :) The rooms, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas were all clean and well maintained. I also loved the hidden garden in the back; it was a peaceful place to relax. The hostel café was a nice bonus too. The location is excellent, within walking distance of downtown and the train station. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for solo backpackers 😊
10/10 experience. This was my first time ever staying in a hostel and honestly, it completely exceeded my expectations. After coming back to the U.S. from Cambodia, I was looking for somewhere peaceful, clean, and comfortable to rest & this place was exactly that. I stayed in the female dorm and ended up having the room to myself which made it feel especially private and relaxing. Everything was much cleaner than I expected and I immediately felt comfortable. I didn’t have to worry about bugs, germs, noise, or anything stressful. The atmosphere was calm, safe, and peaceful the entire time. Even walking around the neighborhood felt nice and welcoming. As a young traveler, this was such a positive experience for me, and it honestly made my transition back home feel a lot easier. I already can’t wait to stay here again next week. Highly recommend!
